Hey Teo and Say Hueque,
Argentina was a blast and Say Hueque really pulled through with their end of the bargain. I was nervous when I landed in Salta and thought that no one would show up and it would turn out to be a big scam, but someone was waiting for me and was incredibly helpful and friendly in the car to the hostel.
Thank you for being so great with this whole trip. I wish I had more time in Argentina and South America to explore even more!
PS I would have to say that out of the Backpackers hostel in Salta or Posta in Purmamarca, Posta was absolutely my favorite. I was actually one of the only people staying in Posta that night, which made me a bit nervous at first, but it turned out to be quiet and relaxing and it was so great to have my own space.
All my best,
Jennifer
Again, thank you for all your help and support whilst we were in Argentina – we would have no hesitation in recommending Argentina as a holiday destination, and also using Say Heuque to book with, based on our experiences!

Hi Veronica and Say Hueque,
Overall, we had a fantastic time and since coming home, we have been recommending Argentina (and Say Heuque!) as a great place to go on holidays!
We were concerned beforehand that because we had little or no Spanish that it would be difficult to get around etc, but thanks to your (and Helena’s) support in booking travel (and rebooking travel due to the volcanic ash disruption), it was a lot easier than anticipated.
Also, as a general point, we found almost everybody we met to be very friendly and helpful (and patient with our lack of Spanish!), and this really added to the enjoyment of our holiday – I would hope that visitors to Ireland would have a similarly positive experience. We both felt very safe whilst walking around different parts of the various places we visited, whilst taking the normal kind of precautions one would take anywhere, whilst on holidays.
We enjoyed our time in Buenos Aires – the hotel was lovely, and both the City Tour and Tango Show you recommended were very enjoyable.
We got to see lots of Whales in Patagonia (Peninsula Valdes) and really enjoyed the day tour and canoeing activities there.
Ushuia was the highlight of our trip - we did lots of activities like dog sledding, snow shoeing, ice climbing, skiing, whilst there, and again the hotel was very nice.
Unfortunately, we didn’t get to El Calafate due to the volcanic ash flight disruptions, but went straight on to Mendoza instead – we really enjoyed it, as it was so different, and we got to try the canyoning and rafting. The winetasting trip and the restaurants were a particular highlight of Mendoza also!
We also visited Iguazu falls, which was very beautiful, and we got very wet on the boat trip to the waterfall, but this was definitely a highlight of our holidays also. Unfortunately, our camera and laptop were stolen from the hotel here, so we don’t have too many photos from Argentina to share with you, which is a pity!
Thank you again for your help regarding our camera and laptop – we filed a travel Insurance claim, so hopefully that will cover the cost of the items :)
Again, thank you for all your help and support whilst we were in Argentina – we would have no hesitation in recommending Argentina as a holiday destination, and also using Say Heuque to book with, based on our experiences!
Regards
Aonghus and Ruth, Ireland

Dear Veronica,

Cecilia our guide was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and made our visit to the falls most enjoyable. She also organised an additional trip for us at short notice to the three frontiers area and to a gemstone mine. Our guide for that trip, Silvio, was also very helpful to us and made a recommendation for an excellent restaurant in Iguazu. We will recommend your company to relations due to visit Argentina next April.
The Sheraton hotel was expensive but worth it.
Kind regards

I thought some driver was going to pick us up, dropped us off at the hotel, gave us some paper, and that was it. It's nice getting to know both of you and receiving local BA recommendations. This level of attention really sets Say Hueque apart.

Hola Teo and Say Hueque!
We miss Buenos Aires already! We haven't had any beef or wine since we got back home, but I took a bunch of pictures of the food we had in Argentina. I was looking at them this morning and my mouth was watering. :)
The trip went very well and we were extremely pleased. It was really nice to have a host (you) and driver (Valdi - spelling?) to be with us the whole time, and that was a pleasant surprise. The hotels were both great. Jasy (Puerto Iguazu) was very cute and everybody was friendly. We were treated very nicely and I highly recommend it. The only improvement is to have more lights in the room. It was really dark and I had a hard time finding things at night. Dazzler in BA was in a convenient location, and the room was clean. The staff was not as friendly as Jasy's, but we were happy with the stay.
Of course, we wish we didn't run into the bird shit thieves, but it was a good traveling tale. :D
Muchas gracias Teo! I can't wait to go to Argentina again!

We really liked the view hotel in Bariloche and Federico was an amazing guide! Please pass on to him how much we liked our stay there!
All the hotels were excellent and there was wifi and internet in all locations! The glaciers at el calafate was our favourite part of the trip!
Everything went smoothly and overall we are very happy! The flights were the only issue at times but it didnt cause too many problems!
Thank you for all your help! You were very friendly and helpful!
Cheers,

Hola Teo and Say Hueque,
I am back home and have started to go through my photos. Thank you very much for a great trip. I got to know beautiful landscapes and very friendly people and I was extremely happy with the services of Say Hueque.
All the accomodation was very good, but I especially liked Posta de Purmamarca. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated and the location was just great. I was impressed with the smooth organization of the whole trip.
All pick-ups were on time. The only problem with timing was in Cafayate. As we arrived only in the evening at about 7 p.m. and left the next morning at 10 a.m. I did not see as much as I would have liked of this beautiful town.
All in all, it was a great experience and as I do not speak any Spanish it would have been impossible for me to do all this by myself.
Thank you very much and all the best to you,
Isabel
Not sure what I would have done without Say Hueque

Hola Vernonica,
I would be happy to give you feedback on our experiences and accommodations while on our "southern cone" tour. We really enjoyed Valparaiso and the Casa Thomas Sommerscale was a delightful old Victorian home. We would not have been able to negotiate Valparaiso on our own. Having Hernan with us made it a great day. I'm afraid we would have been unhappy with that side trip without a guide.
Probably the best lodging was Finca Adalgisa in Mendoza. It was a lovely small winery with great accomodations and a wonderful "happy hour" where you could have a glass of their Malbec. The Espendor in BA was also very nice and they upgraded us to a suite which was perfect at that point in our trip. La Cantera in Iguazu was beautiful and the rooms with patio were very nice but the rooms were so cold! I'm not sure why but I did give the hotel that feedback. I can't say what I liked the most but having a sunny day to see Iguazu was wonderful!
The Hotel San Francisco was very nice and at the end of our trip we appreciated their pool and fitness center. They also had the best breakfast and pisco sours! The location of the hotel was excellent.
If I were to say what our least favorite accomodations were I would say the Esplendor in Montevideo. The neighborhood was a bit uncomfortable with lots of "adult shops". Our room was just OK. The staff, although helpful, did not speak English and this proved to be a problem when we asked them to instruct a cab driver as to where we wanted to go. We got sent not to the market but a shopping mall. However, that is the way it goes sometimes when you travel internationally. Lyon knew some Spanish but not well enough for specific instructions. Also we were in Montevideo on the weekend and the city seems to close down Sat. aft and all day Sunday leaving us with very little to do. Not like Buenos Aires where it was always busy and rather fun. The tango show you sent us to was superb. We also went to the one at Cafe Tortini and that was a different atmosphere but enjoyable.
Our city tours were very good and the guides were great. It gave us an introduction to the city and that way we could understand our surroundings. They gave very useful information and were agreeable to drop us at a place of interest at the end of the tour.
Thank you for the empanada recipe. One of my favorite things in Argentina! We really had a wonderful time and thought traveling off season was perfect . . not too hot and not too many tourists! We had the one bad day in BA with the pick pocket but you and your agency were very kind to set us up with Hernan for that extra day which was perfect and made us very comfortable. We would suggest to anyone traveling to work through your agency as you were easily accesible by email and got back to us in a timely manner. I'm not sure what I would have done without you!!
We are home now and its summer in Alaska. I will send some photos but am just busy right now catching up with work.
The trip went very well and we were extremely pleased

Hola Teo!
Thanks for the recipe and wine list, and yes we miss Buenos Aires already! We haven't had any beef or wine since we got back home, but I took a bunch of pictures of the food we had in Argentina. I was looking at them this morning and my mouth was watering. :)

The only suggestion is the Estancia pick up. The itinerary listed 9:15am so we were at the lobby promptly. However, the bus didn't come until 10:15. We were concerned and the hotel front desk manager told us it's common for the bus to come after 10am. I understand the bus runs late because of traffic and other hotel pickups, but I wish the waiting time was more accurate so we didn't have to spend an hour in the lobby.
Of course, we wish we didn't run into the bird shit thieves, but it was a good traveling tale. :D
Muchas gracias Teo! I can't wait to go to Argentina again!
