I just got back from a really great trip to Argentina. First of all I would like to thank Natalia for organizing everything so good for me! the trip to Patagonia and Iguazu, the tours and the hostels were all very well chosen!

When I first visited Natalia at the agency, she quickly understood my ideas and where I wanted to go and what I wanted to see, and she made it all come true in a very good way.

Its nice to hear from you. Thank you for the recipe and wine recommendations.

Our trip was very nice! We loved touring BA with you although I probably would have booked you for 2 afternoons for a little longer period of time and visited San Telma and La Boca one day and Recoleta and Palermo the next day with a meal/cafe on each day. That doesn't have anything to do with you it just would have been better for us (in hindsight).

In regards to our favorite hotel: we loved Magnolia Hotel because the service was great and the rooms were nice and quiet. I found that hotel on my own not through Say Hueque. The sheraton in Iguazu was fine and it was nice to be in the park but it was pretty expensive for how bland and "worn" the hotel is.

The hotel in Mendoza (Villagio...I think) was in a good location and staff was nice.
We loved the wine tour in Mendoza. The guide was nice and the 2 vineyards we visited were perfect.
We did not really like the tour to the andes. The guide was more interested in her mate and cigarettes and talking to the bus driver and friends they picked up on the way. She was able to recite some interesting history and we stopped at a couple of interesting places but the trip was too long and the guide was unprofessional.

The flights were fine and I am sure quicker then riding a bus. It would have been nice to have a shorter trip from Iguazu to Mendoza (had to fly back to BA and wait a few hours) but I don't know if that is possible.

I will gladly recommend Say Hueque to anyone visiting Argentina.

Hi Ursula,

Thank you for checking in with us. We have had a fantastic time, thanks in large part to the package Say Hueque put together for us. Highlights include the wine tour, the Andes, and of course all of the amazing food! All of the tour companies and hotels were professional, friendly, and beyond helpful. We have to call particular attention to the Hotel Bohemia in Mendoza - the owners really went above and beyond to make us feel at home. But we wouldn't hesitate to recommend any aspect of our trip to anybody and everybody - especially SayHueque itself!

We are spending a few more days in BA and a couple of days in Montevideo before we head back to the States. (Mauro gave me a couple of heladeria recommendations that have been spot on!!) It will be hard to go back! I am so in love with Argentina. I'm sure you will be hearing from us again when we plan future trips!

Dear Ursula,

I really apologise for not writing before. I was going to, but then friends, relatives, work, our dog...the time really flew.

I wanted to tell you that we were absolutely happy with the trip you planned for us, and we really had a wonderful time. The accomodations were great (answering to your question, the ones we liked most were the ones in Purmamarca, El Calafate and Torres del Paine, but they were all very good).

We have been incredibly lucky at Torres Del Paine: we had two days of full sunshine and were able to do our trekking tour without the patagonian wind !! (see photo)

Everything went well, without delays or incidents. Maybe the trip to Humauaca was a bit tyring, but the day before (salinas grandes, quebrada del toro and Purmamarca were really worth the visit), and the return trip from Torres Del Paine was tiring as well, but nothing unbearable.

The only fear we had was that we might miss the connection at Buenos Aires on the day we travelled from Salta to El Calafate: we had to send our lugguage, rather than bringing it with us ( they have a 5 kg. limit for the hand lugguage), collect it at Buenos Aires, check it in again with the other airline, and we had only one hour time! Consider that our flight to Salta, on the previous sunday, was two hours late! Fortunately during the week the chaos was much less, and everything went well.

Our best way of thanking you: we have already given your address to some friends who are thinking of following our path (50th birthday as well!!) I'll tell Andrea to contact you on our behalf.

So, thanks again, it was a pleasure meeting you. We felt relaxed and at ease, and hope we'll come again!

Hi Kelvin and Say Hueque!

Yesterday we arrived in Italy! We suffer already of South American syndrome !! Ah Ah! Sure we 'd like to come back in Argentina very very soon!

We've travelled in Chile too: Puerto Natales, Punta Arenas and also Santiago! We' travelled through Liberatodor Pass to Mendoza! We' ve loved the ANDES!

We liked The Posada in Puerto Madryn , but also The Hainen , It's difficult to explain which was the best! We've also loved Argentian People but also the Chilian (if it's possible to say it to an argentian ! )

Patogonia is amazing! Although also Buenos Aires is a wonderful city! In BA we've spent our nights in Dandy Royal Mansion, it'very charming.

Of course we'd like to learn an empanada recipe!!

I just returned from a 20 day trip to Argentina...
Covering: Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls, Mendoza, Bariloche, El Carafate, El Chalten, Ushuaia...
All hotels and activities were booked through Say Hueque. They are the best. No missed flights and the airport transfers were always on time. All the local guides were super nice [and speak] perfect English. My Say Huegue guide who met me in Buenos Aires had a lot of good suggestions on interesting sites to see and kept in touch with me through my trip to make sure all my flights and hotels were OK.

For the independent traveler Say Huegue is the perfect choice. They give in-depth information like maps and guides but allow you to explore on your own.

Let me begin to thank especially you for the nice follow up you did during the time we were in Argentina... it was a very good feeling to know.. ... that, if in case something happened or something went wrong, we could phone or contact somebody in Argentina.
We will make really lots of good and positive comments, and I already gave your name to some friends and collegues.
It was also a very good thing, that you were at the airport in Buenos Aires to pick us up and gave us the tip to change immediately some US Dollars....thanks !!!
Also very positive was the whole process before ....like all the email contacts we did with Gaston, he has made different propositions, always taking care about the comments, without getting tired of our wishes....or questions, limits.
The details in the final itinerary were ok, sometimes a stupid copy-paste error...., but ok no problem, it happens.

We liked very much the excursions to the Perito Moreno and very, very much the excursion to the Glaciers, which were for me still the really ,really most beautiful thing I ever saw in my live!

The moment i type it, I am getting goosbumps... this was the experience of a lifetime and i would go back immediately..... Antartica comes very high in our list of wishes......

Teo, thanks for everything, we saw so many beautiful and amazing things, fantastic experience with Say Hueque......waaauw, and what a great country !
