Hola Veronica and Say Hueque,
I would be happy to give you feedback on our experiences and accommodations while on our "southern cone" tour. We really enjoyed Valparaiso and the Casa Thomas Sommerscale was a delightful old Victorian home. We would not have been able to negotiate Valparaiso on our own. Having Hernan with us made it a great day. I'm afraid we would have been unhappy with that side trip without a guide.
Probably the best lodging was Finca Adalgisa in Mendoza. It was a lovely small winery with great accomodations and a wonderful "happy hour" where you could have a glass of their Malbec. The Espendor in BA was also very nice and they upgraded us to a suite which was perfect at that point in our trip.
La Cantera in Iguazu was beautiful and the rooms with patio were very nice but the rooms were so cold! I'm not sure why but I did give the hotel that feedback. I can't say what I liked the most but having a sunny day to see Iguazu was wonderful!
The Hotel San Francisco was very nice and at the end of our trip we appreciated their pool and fitness center. They also had the best breakfast and pisco sours! The location of the hotel was excellent.
If I were to say what our least favorite accomodations were I would say the Esplendor in Montivideo. The neighborhood was a bit uncomfortable with lots of "adult shops". The staff, although helpful, did not speak English and this proved to be a problem when we asked them to instruct a cab driver as to where we wanted to go. We got sent not to the market but a shopping mall. However, that is the way it goes sometimes when you travel internationally.
Buenos Aires was always busy and rather fun. The tango show you sent us to was superb. We also went to the one at Cafe Tortini and that was a different atmosphere but enjoyable.
Our city tours were very good and the guides were great. It gave us an introduction to the city and that way we could understand our surroundings. They gave very useful information and were agreeable to drop us at a place of interest at the end of the tour.
We really had a wonderful time and thought traveling off season was perfect; not too hot and not too many tourists! We had the one bad day in BA with the pick pocket but you and your agency were very kind to set us up with Hernan for that extra day which was perfect and made us very comfortable.
We would suggest to anyone traveling in this are to work through your agency as you were easily accesible by email and got back to us in a timely manner. I'm not sure what I would have done without you!!

we enjoyed a lot going to see Lago Argentino ...Upsala Glacier ...and Estancia Cristina.
we enjoyed less Santa Susanna Excursion....we found it touristic place....we were looking for something more gaucho more typical....but the horses were so beatiful and the empanadas fantastic....

Hola, Mariana and Say Hueque,
We loved our trip to Argentina and thought Say Hueque did a great job. The transfers were smooth, the tours were great and we liked all our lodgings.
We particularly liked Los Senderos in El Chalten. The staff was all super-friendly and seemed to love what they do. The restaurant wasn't very busy but we ate there one night and it was excellent.
Other places we liked in El Chalten were La Cerveceria and La Tapera. Also, the tourismo office around the corner from Los Senderos was very helpful in choosing hiking trails.
In Ushuaia, Piroturs trip to Estancia Harberton and to the penguin rookery on Isla Martillas was outstanding. For meals we followed Say Hueque's suggestions and ate very well.
We spent a week in BsAs on our own, but I want to mention that the biking tour of street art/graffiti, run by biking Buenos Aires and graffitmundo, was really a treat with a guide who was passionate about the art and the artists.
We will certainly recommend Say Hueque to anyone we know who is going to Argentina.
Saludos,
Fred and Nancy

Hello Mariano (Araka), Veronica and the whole Say Heuque team!
On behalf of the group I would like to thank you for the great services you and the company provided for us. We started out in... ... Ushuaia with 8 Belgian and 2 Dutch people, and were joined by 4 more Belgians for the second part of the trip, Buenos Aires and Misiones.
First of all I like to thank Mariano for the fast answers on the many e-mails I send, to come to the desired program, starting almost 9 months before the tour. No question was too much and every wish was solved in the best possible way.
Everywhere we arrived there was a friendly face holding a sign with our name on. The organization was perfect, we never had to wait for a minute (Ok Veronica, we understand, car races are not held very often in the streets of BA ;-)
We were very pleased with the comfort of the transport and certainly with the quality of the guides and private excursions we had. Also the hotels we could pick out of your list were very good, and of high standard. One little drawback, the Elevage hotel closed the pool and the pool area the day we arrived. This was not on their website, and the pool was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. The location was very good, but the staff could have reacted more professional and polite when we complained about the pool.
Giving all the highlights will lead to far, I give just a few: the cruise on the Stella Australis, seeing 5000 tons of ice falling from Perito Moreno, the lake view at Bariloche, Tango and Teatro Colon, La Chacra and the heli flight above the Iguazu falls.
If I may give some advice to the future travelers, beside the classic features: Visit the teatro Colon in BA it is worth the $110, don’t fly to Iguazu and back for 2 days and see nothing else but the falls, but take some time to see more of Misiones. We flew to Posada, visited the ruins, stayed at La Chacra and in the Yacutinga jungle lodge, and flew back from Iguazu. And last but not least: leave it to Say Hueque to organize it for you!
Oh, yes, when we visited the falls, there was very little water running through. But I guess it was out of the influence of Say Hueque, and their relation of the former Mapuche leader is not that strong, that they could make it rain a few months before we came to visit the country!
Thanks again,
Dirk Antwerp-Belgium
hanks for organizing it for me. Need to plan my next trip with Say Hueque soon.

Hola Carmen and Say Hueque!
Sadly I'm back and ready to go back to work. Also I'm ready to have some more vegetables in my diet after eating all that delicious meat. The trip was great!
Everything went smoothly. I particularly loved Perito Moreno glacier and ice trekking.
It was nice to have the transfers included as well. Although, few times i was a bit worried whether they would turn up especially after the flight from El Calafate which was quite late, but they did.
The only comment i would make was about the Buenos Aires accommodation: Folcadell. It was really great to have big space but it was quite noisy especially the first night staying on the first floor but other than that no other issues.
Thanks for organizing it for me. Need to plan my next trip with Say Hueque soon.
Regards
Elena
We had had a wonderful trip to Argentina and Rio de Janeiro
- Paul FriedrichWe had had a wonderful trip to Argentina and Rio de Janeiro
Hola Yuna,
We are finally safely back to normal at home with the jet lag!
We had had a wonderful trip to Argentina and Rio de Janeiro. Thanks very much to Say Hueque tours.
The overall trips went well. Our views are as follow:
• Timings for pick up were punctual for all except at arrival at Iguazu airport where we had to ring to locate the tour agent. There were no problems in locating the agents on all arrivals and on tour pick ups at all times.
• The services were good in general. The choices of accommodations were comfortable and clean. Locations were convenient.
• We were most impressed and happy with the tour at Ushuaia and also the accommodation. The hotel location was central, convenient, clean and comfortable. The tour guide and the driver of Nunatak Adventure for the trekking and canoeing were amazing. The lunch set up in a tent and they even cooked the delicious meal and served with wine in the national park was unforgettable! Well done fellows!
• On leaving both at El Calafate and Ushuaia, the tour agents had booked our seats on line ahead and provided us with on-line check in documents which were very much appreciated and thoughtful. Most flights were full for all our trips and where no seats were booked ahead we were normally allocated to end of the planes which were not so comfortable! As you have booked the flights for the entire tour and should also book the seats for the passengers in future.
• The tours conducted by the Brazilian travel agents were disappointing especially at Rio de Janeiro. The guide for the half day tour of Corcovado and park walk was an amateur. The guide for the Sugar Loaf and city tour was slight better but not much good in explaining or rather did so in a hurry to get over the job. Both tours were late and finished early and provided only 3 hours instead of 4 hours tours.
• The mini guides provided were very useful. Thank you.
• The national park entrance fees are very costly even to Australian standard! We know you have no control but perhaps can express to the local authorities that the costs are too high. The entry fees should be valid for a week or at least for a few days instead of daily fee!
We would certainly recommend you to our friends heading to Argentina in future. Attached are couple of photos for the tours.
Thanks very much for the recipe for the Empanada. We love them and also the Parilla!
I lost my prescribed spectacle at the Iguazu trail! The guide was going to find out from the rangers if anyone handled in a pair of glasses at end of day 12th March. I guessed there was no sign of it as I did not hear from him! I am very short sighted and was rather blind from that day on! Luckily I also have a pair of prescribed dark sun glasses which I had to use from then on for day and night. Looked like a blind person at night with sun glasses on me, no choice...!
Thanks and regards,
Paul and Helen
We recommend with all our heart this serious and competent company. Thanks Say Hueque! we had one of the most beautiful trips in our life!

We took the "Argentina for adventurers" trip last March. Florentia of Say Hueque welcomed us at the airport and took us to the Forcadell hotel -providing us with the first informations. We started the visit with Buenos Aires. The city tour was very rich with plenty of information and history. A nice young lady (forgot her name) was a perfect guide!
In the evening we were taken to a TANGO show , at the 9 of July tango club - again a very very nice show, with chorizo, steak and wine...
Then we flew to Calafate-where another nice hostess Laura from Huellas del Sur took us to the Hosteria Posta Sur and gave us a lot of flyers and vouchers describing our stay in Calafate and Perito Moreno, Upsala and Espinghetti glaciers in
the Glacier National Park.
We took the bus for El Chalten where we made 3 nice excurions - Cerro El Torre, Cero Fitz Roy, Lago del disierto. Nice hotel Baranca, and very very nice place to eat -La Tapera. Then back to Calafate.
Next day we were taken in a Bus to Torres del Paine. The guide Mathias was excellent, he made a concise but full presentation of this wonderful Park.
After 2 nights and wandering among the fantastic views at Torres (the Las Torres hotel is a jewel in the middle of nowhere!) we were taken back to Calafate.
Next day - flight to Ushuaia , nice excursion including the Train to the End of the World, guided by Ariel. Cruise on Beagel Canal, with captain Ricardo and nice guide Vanina.
Back to Buenos, flight to Iguazu. No words are needed. Only to mention Hosito our private guide..
....All this was organized and directed step by step by Say Hueque people - Cecilia Romero and most kind and patient Mauro Marineschi.
We were impressed by the ponctuality of every guide, every driver, each one in time, and with a smiling face.
We recommend with all our heart this serious and competent company.
Thanks Say Hueque! we had one of the most beautiful trips in our life!
