First of all, I would like to apologize that it took me so long to write back to you.

To answer your question, Ursula, my flight to Romania was looong but ok, and it was really nice to see my parents and spend some time with them, even if it was for few days. During this time I had quite limited access to internet, which partially explains my delayed reply. After that, I came back to work. So I spent Christmas Eve working and Christmas day resting!

This past week has been mostly work and not much time left for anything else.
These being said, I would like to thank you so very much for all your help in making my trip happen. I was really happy with how things worked out (except that delay from Iguazu, which made me miss the connection to El Calafate, but that is not at all your fault, it was of course the airline).
Thank you all for showing so much understanding to all my requests and for re-arranging the trip to the glacier.

I was really happy with my choice of hotels, in all three places, so I find it a bit difficult to choose only one as my favourite. All three hotels were nice to stay in, nice and helpful staff as well. The tour guides, throughout the entire journey, were amazing! So knowledgeable and professional!
Best of travelling with you was that you delivered what you promised, everything went really well, it was well organised, you showed flexibility, your partners in all 3 places were professional. It was really good for me to join groups of tourists, I met nice and friendly people.

Whenever I had the time, I showed pictures of my trip and everybody was amazed! I will try to attach 1 or 2 pictures for you as well.

So definitely my trip was a success, I am so happy I've seen these beautiful places of your beautiful country.

Happy New Year! Sorry it has been a while for me to respond. Coming back from the trip moved me into a whirlwind with work at the preschool and of course the holidays. I hope you had some time off to enjoy them.

My trip to Argentina with Linda was a wonderful experience. I knew I wanted to see Patagonia but I never realized how vast and different each area would be. The views from river rafting and hiking in the far south were breathtaking, not to mention a workout as well! The tour guides were so fun and full of knowledge in each location. The glaciers were beyond belief I am not sure I have words for how I felt. The sound of ice cracking and falling, the bluish color and the cold chill in the air made the experience magical. Moving on to walking among the penguins was a desire I have always had. What amazing birds, so cute and dedicated to their offspring. I don't think I took any less than 100 pictures of them and the videos I shot everyone loves! As I said each region was so different but when we got up to the falls in the north I felt like I had gone to another country it was so different. I have never seen so many waterfalls before, I thought Hawaii had a lot. The variety of butterfly all around were spectacular. When we took the boat ride to the base of one of the falls and were fully immersed in water it was a spiritual experience, I called it a HOLY BAPTISM!

Buenos Aires is a beautiful city with all of the trees in bloom and variety of architecture. We walked every where and our tour with Ursula was a delight. The tour gave us the opportunity to see all the areas we would not have been able to see on our own. It was not just informative but a blast because Ursula and our driver made it so much fun. How can you beat stopping to enjoy some ice cream together!!

Say Hueque was easy to work with and did a great job of helping us plan our trip. They heard what we wanted to see and gave us just that. I did not feel like they left one thing out on our list of must sees! When there was a little mix up with moving from one location to the other they worked to solve the problem without us missing anything we wanted to see or do.

The only thing I was not thrilled with was the location of the hotel in Buenos Aires. The hotel itself was fine but the location was a bit intimidating and I did not feel completely safe. I would recommend finding a better location to stay especially for two women on their own.

Both Linda and I can't say enough about Ursula!! From the first minute we meant her at the airport to the goodbye to go home she felt like a friend. One we could email with questions and she would respond with answers, suggestions and even arrange last minute tours for us. As we drove away in the taxi I will always remember Ursula taking off on her bicycle to undoubtedly work with other travelers on their trip to the amazing country of Argentina!

Happy new year! Just wanted to thank you and your team at Say Hueque for making our honeymoon such a memorable one! We have so many great memories of this trip. Patagonia was so breathtakingly beautiful. We especially enjoyed El Calafate and El Chalten, and the incredible landscapes they had to offer - Perito Moreno, Fitz Roy, Cerro Torre, Torres del Paine, Laguna Nimez, etc. The penguin and whale-watching at Puerto Madryn was a great and very interesting experience as well. Iguazu Falls was so amazing and it is certainly the most beautiful waterfall site we've seen. Buenos Aires, with its beautiful but unpretentious historical buildings and plazas, offered such a refreshing city experience. Argentina is an incredible country and we certainly don't regret making it our honeymoon destination!

As non-Spanish speaking travellers, the seamless service provided by Say Hueque and its appointed local agencies was crucial in providing a hassle-free journey. We could always count on being received by our English-speaking guides/drivers at the end of a flight or bus ride who will transfer us to our accommodation and answer any questions we might have.

The accommodations selected by Say Hueque also met our expectations on the whole with their clean rooms and friendly staff. We especially want to highlight Cauquenes de Nimez as our favourite accommodation on the trip. The location is quaint and beautiful, the premise is homely, and the staff are top-notch. We felt more like friends, than guests of that place.

We also want to thank Mariano for his patience in helping us plan this trip. We had so many emails back and forth over a period of many months in order to craft out an itinerary that catered to the sights we had in mind and as well as a budget we were comfortable with. He was always prompt in his replies, while I'd take ages to send mine. In the end the itinerary was very well-planned and well-paced given the amount of time we had.

Well done Say Hueque! You've given us such a wonderful memory of your beautiful country!

We really enjoyed our trip to Argentina and our time with you. Although our flight was delayed leaving Buenos Aires, the airline had booked us another connection, so all was good.

We had sent Araka a short note upon our return thanking him for his help in arranging the trip and mentioned that the service you provided was excellent! Both you and the driver Victor were friendly, helpful and on time. We enjoyed seeing the sights and getting the information from you on various spots.

The tango show was enjoyable. For such a large venue, the service was excellent and the food quite good. We did enjoy our dinner at Cabana Las Lilas, even though it is expensive. The Puerto Madero area is very lively and fun to walk after dinner. The Sofitel is a lovely, elegant hotel in a very nice section of town and a short convenient walk to Florida Street. Would highly recommend it. Had lunch at Il Gatto and that was also very good.

In Iguazu Falls, the guide Mica and various drivers were also excellent, providing friendly, timely and helpful advice. Spending 3 days there was the right amount of time: day 1 to relax by the beautiful pool; day 2 to see the Argentine side, day 3 to see the Brazil side. Enjoyed having dinner in the town of Puerto Iguazu. Really liked the restaurant "Aqua". Think that staying on the Argentine side was the right thing to do. The Iguazu Grand Resort was a beautiful property with excellent service.

Thanks for the recipe for the empanadas. Sherry had them at Aqua and thought that they were the best ever!! And muchos gracias for the lovely bottle of Malbec. We wrapped it securely in our luggage so that we could enjoy it with our Christmas dinner and have nice memories of you and Argentina.

What we appreciated about Say Hueque was that someone was always available in case of any difficulties. That is very reassuring. Everyone was also on time, friendly and spoke excellent English (much better than our Spanish) another thing that is important to us.

My brother and I had a great trip to Argentina. Thanks so much to you and Lucia for getting everything organized. We had no problems with hotels, excursions, bus tickets, etc. We appreciated your e-mails with tips on trails and restaurants. We both thought seeing the Perito Moreno glacier was our favorite part of the trip. Unfortunately the weather in El Chalten was rainy and cloudy, so we didn't get to see Mount Fitz Roy. The scenery was still pretty, though, on the trails.
Both hotels we stayed at were excellent. They were clean and comfortable. We especially liked Los Ponchos in El Calafate. Everyone there was very helpful and professional. It was fun having the delicious breakfast brought to our room, and we liked the fact that the rooms were apartments.
The best part of using your company was the fact that everything was planned and organized for us. We didn't have to struggle with individual bookings. It made the trip much more relaxing and enjoyable. I don't think anything can be improved. Everything ran smoothly--all hotels had our info and we were picked up on time for the excursion.
The empanadas we had in El Chalten were great. Thanks for the recipe!
I've included a picture of my brother at El Chorrillo del Salto. It was so pretty, we went there twice!

Here are my comments:

Hotels: we only stayed in 2. The Hotel If Patagonia in Natales was nice, with modern styling and efficient rooms. The location was good. The Hotel Tierra del Fuego was a bit dated but suited our purposes. Both hotels (and others we booked on our own) were very hot…that seemed to be a theme in Patagonia.

Best of traveling with Say Hueque: having logistical details (especially buses) already planned out.

Overall we were very happy with the experience, although there was some initial stress about not having the true W circuit booked, this was worked out. The people at Fantastico Sur were very helpful, also.
