I would probably check with Say Hueque again for other South American travel

Pia,

I wanted to let you know how our trips that we booked through Say Hueque went. Our journey to Colonia, Uruguay was wonderful and our guide, Mattais was very informative.
However, we did miss our ferry back to Buenos Aires and had to stay in Colonia an extra 4 hours. Our guide was uninformed as to the change of schedule for the ferry. Apparently it had changed to the Winter schedule just before our trip. This did cause us to miss a planned event back in Buenos Aires that evening, but we had to choose to make the best of it. I would strongly suggest making sure that the guides are aware of the schedules at all times and plan accordingly.
Our trip to Iguazu was great also...our guide Gaston was equally informative and helpful. We were quite disappointed that we were not booked on the early flight going to Iguazu and had to rearrange our itinerary and felt rushed through the falls tour. We were unable to take advantage of the breakfast provided because we had to leave the hotel so early to begin our tour. We got to see everything but with no time to linger, we had to be VERY scheduled in order to complete the tour before having to leave for our flight back to Buenos Aires. Although seeing the falls was spectacular we did not feel as though we received our moneys worth.
I was very satisfied with all the communication before the trip and the ability to reach someone when we had a problem. It seems as if you all try hard to ensure things go well. I wanted to make sure you knew of our experience and can make changes in the future. I would probably check with Say Hueque again for other South American travel. Please forward this on to your company managers so that they can be made aware of things.

Thank you
Andrea Inman

You provided transportation between airport and hotel, etc and this transportation was excellent! Arrived on time, reliable.

Juan, here is the feedback you requested.

1. We enjoyed the trip.

2. Vera and Yuna were very helpful.

3. You provided transportation between airport and hotel, etc, and this
transportation was excellent! Arrived on time, reliable.

4. Hotel Bobo was excellent. very helpful staff. the bed and bedding was outstanding.

5. Iguazu falls was scheduled on a weekend. That was a mistake. It should have been
Buenos Aires on a weekend and Iguazu on week days.

6. The Falls were great, but the town was boring. Our flight back to BA should have
been in the morning, not the afternoon.

7. The lodge de la Selva in Iguazu was fairly good.

8. In BA, the Tango show in the evening was an excellent show.

9. We went to a jazz club in BA and enjoyed it.

10. We liked the antique store area in San Telmo.

Hope this helps..... Richard

Thanks for your help in putting together this enjoyable vacation

We had a great time. Jasy hotel was good and we liked being in town and able to walk 10-15 min to most Iguazu restaurants and a good coffee house too. Yacutinga eco-lodge was a great experience! Wish we had one more day there.

The internal flight and connections all went well. The eco-lodge had changed the Iguazu pickup point recently, but Argacam went to the old (nearby) pick-up point. The eco-lodge figured it out, however.

We stayed at the Art Suites in BA. Spacious apartment, excellent wi-fi, breakfast included and a very reasonable price. Very close to Recoleta, restuarants, etc.

We did the South bike trip through you and enjoyed that very much.

We really enjoyed the restaurants in BA too. It is a good idea to bring USD to Argentina. Some of the restaurants offer a discount and excellent exchange rate for USD, while the ATMs all charge $6 USD for a withdrawal, give the official exchange rate, and we were limited depending on the bank to only 1,500 or 1,000 pesos per withdrawal.

Thanks for your help in putting together this enjoyable vacation

Never have I experienced such remarkable customer service

I just want to say a special thank you to Juliana and her team of Claudia, Ursula and Elisa. I was in dire straights on my visit to Argentina and they were just wonderful. They were kind, caring and showed their expertise in many areas to get me home. I had (to me) a very difficult situation and they made me feel loved and they had only me to take care of. Never have I experienced such remarkable customer service. There are not words to adequately say thank you. So - mucho mucho gracias. I love you all.

Great experience of Iguazu Falls from Argentinean and Brazilian side from our tour guide Deborah. We enjoyed our city of Buenos Aires tour with knowlegible guide.

I had a wonderful time in the El Calafate region

Hi,

I want you to know that I had a wonderful time in the El Calafate region. I liked all my tours. I didn't care at all about the weather because Patagonia is even more lovely and mysterious when the weather isn't perfect.

Your company let me choose my hotel. I chose Las Dunas without even realizing that it was one of only two hotels which were directly in front of Lago Argentino. I was on the first floor with a view directly on the lake and the changing skies over it. It was astonishing beautiful. This is a three star hotel but very good. I especially liked that the rooms are spacious. The restaurant is not that good but for me this was not such a big issue. It was good enough. The staff was very helpful.

I really appreciated the little notes from your staff checking up on me and asking if I needed anything. Senior citizens like me appreciate such things, even if we are seasoned travelers.
I just posted my complements to you online on the Responsible Travel site.

Take care,
Joanna

In Valdez we saw many animals, snorkeling with sealions was great!

Hola,

We arrived late in Mendoza Saturday. The bus trip was boring, sorry to say, but now we have seen the Argentinain landscape. Went to spa cacheuta yesterday. No wine yet but soon.

In Valdez we saw many animals but was a little too late/early for whales and many penguins. but saw 2 penguins still. snorkeling with sealions was great! They came very close. our guide Max did what he could so we would see most animals. His English might be better because sometimes he did not understand our questions.

Tolosa hotel was nice.

Pictures attached. You can freely use them if you put my name on them.

Best regards,

We ended up having to pay extra to do the things we came to Patagonia to do

We ended up having to pay extra to do the things we came to Patagonia to do

There was a bit of confusion with our flights and some last minute changes with us "choosing" the 4x4 tour and them telling us that was our only option. We did have a good time on the 4x4. We loved the countryside. Pretty country.

Thank you for picking us up at the airport. We had a really rough start to the day. When we were leaving our hotel in Buenos Aires, I showed the front desk that we needed to go to the airport on our paperwork. We showed them a copy of our itenirary from Say Hueque. The greeters for the hotel explained to the taxi driver to take us to the airport. They took us to the Aeroparque for our departure. That was the WRONG airport. Our flight was booked to depart out of the International Airport and arrive back at the Downtown airport. We got out of our cab, checked in the airline desk, and she told us we are at the WRONG airport. We needed to get another cab to take us to the International airport. that cost us $400 pesos. It would be better knowing we are staying downtown, to book the departure and arrival flights from the same airport. The Downtown airport of course is the best option.

We chose to hike on our first day in Ushuaia. Because our Trekking was cancelled, we needed to see it on our own by foot. We hiked the Glacier Martial. The 4x4 Tour was nice. The food was great.
The boat tour through Beagle channel was great. We saw seals, penguins, and a few whales. We liked the small boat option. We got off on an island and walked around for about 45 minutes. After our boat tour, we hired a taxi for the afternoon at $1000 pesos to take us to the Parque Nacional de Tierra de Fuego. Since that portion of our tour was cancelled, we had to do it on our own. We were able to get out, hike around, take pictures, and enjoy the park. The Hostel was very nice. Overall, we had a good time.

Trekking was our main reason for going to Patagonia. Flying to the end of the world for a specific purpose to hear its cancelled due to snow (which is expected) dampered our plans. If that is a concern for the tour group, then do not offer it as an option only to take it away from us upon arrival. We truly felt the reason it was cancelled is no other participants had signed up for trekking, thus the re booking to the 4x4 tour. We had to pay extra to do the things we went to Patagonia to do. $250 pesos to do the Glacier hike and $1000 pesos to see the park (not counting the admission to the park).

Overall, like I mentioned before, we had a good time. Not sure we got what we paid for with the package. We ended up having to pay extra to do the things we came to Patagonia to do.

Regards,

Jordan
