Ahora estamos terminando nuestro viaje por Perú. Gracias por su e-mail y la receta.
Le cuento, en Argentina con Una travel nos fue muy bien, nos llamaron para avisarnos de las excursiones y nos dejaron bien temprano en el bus de San Pedro de Atacama.
Luego de llegar a Chile la cosa cambio radicalmente. Nadie nos llamó ni nos aviso para las excursiones, no sabíamos quien tenía que venir a por nosotros ni en que momento.
Estuvimos esperando uno de los días 2 horas para que vinieran, sin ninguna información, nada.
La parte de Bolivia fue algo más organizada ya que era un tour en 4x4.
Pero la agencia de Chile no nos gustó nada. El guía parecía sacado de una película de miedo, sin ningún síntoma de motivación repetía cosas sin sentido.
En fin es una pena porque para la plata que pagamos no le recomendaría a nadie coger el tour. Lo único bueno fue la parte argentina.

Hello Carolina,
I am having a good time! Despite a lot of rain, I enjoyed my excursions to Puerto Blest yesterday, and Victoria Island today. I didn't feed the sea gulls, but enjoyed watching them. I couldn't stay out on the deck long, as the wind was quite strong and cold! The waterfalls and the Arrayanas Forest were my favorite parts, and I found the history and nature of Victoria Island quite fascinating.
For some reason, Barlan did not give me travel vouchers for Victoria Island, so I called Eduardo this morning, and he personally delivered them to the hotel.
I am fine at this hotel. The room is spacious and nice. However, there is a disco across the street that is quite loud, and young partying drunks are yelling in the street at 4:00a.m. All the employees have been nice, with the exception of one gentleman at the reception desk last night, who was very short and impacient with me when I asked him if he could possibly reset the internet for the second floor, as it was not working. I think I interrupted him watching a TV program.
I am not complaining, because for the most part, I am very comfortable here in the hotel, but I thought you might want my honest feedback for future customers of Say Hueque.
I have already fully planned my day tomorrow, but appreciate your suggestions :-) I'm looking forward to my short circuit excursion of Bariloche. I will also doing a city tour and some shopping.

As requested, here are some comments about our trip to Argentina.

The services you provided to us (airplane tickets, hotel in Iguazu, visit to the falls and visit to the "misiones") were excellent as advertised.
All the travel agents at Say Hueque whom we had dealings with were very helpful and thorough.
We enjoyed our trip to Argentina very much, in particular to Mendoza after crossing the Andes by bus from Santiago (Chile), to Iguazu and the extraordinary falls, and finally to Buenos Aires, with a little excursion to Tigre and the Delta.

I would not hesitate to recommend your services to anyone.

I'm still here in Buenos Aires. I leave on Friday though how sad. But sure, I'd love to give some feedback.

Say Hueque helped make all of my travel plans a lot easier. I didn't have to worry about transportation once I arrived to my location or where I was going to stay. I felt very safe the entire time and like I was cared for well, which means a lot to me since I'm a young college student traveling in foreign country. I really liked the place we stayed at in Mendoza (Bohemia Hotel); it had personal homey touches and was very comfortable. It was also in a great location because we only had to walk a few blocks to get to some really great restaurants and bars. What I really liked about traveling with Say Hueque was that we could customize our trip: for Iguazu, my friends and I decided to skip out on the Brazilian side of the falls because we didn't want to pay the pricey visa, so Say Hueque switched up our plan and threw in a really fun trekking and zip-lining excursion.

The only recommendation that I would have isn't really a problem but it might help if you come across travelers who prefer to buy their own flights with the trips. As a student, I have access to slightly cheaper flights from various agencies, so I bought my flights separately for both my trips with Say Hueque. The only issue was that I didn't have guidelines/suggestions for when to buy the flights so my flight times were way off from some of the activity/excursion end times. After we finished in Iguazu, my friends and I waited for four hours at our hotel until we were picked up for our flight. Like I said, not really y'alls problem since we bought the flights but maybe if you give travelers who buy their own flights suggestions on when to schedule them, it would help make everything easier.

Thanks for the message.

All the places that I visited were amazing,
but among them, I particularly liked Ibera wetland
(although getting there in a rainy day was extremely tough).

It was such an unique ecosystem with a large variety of animals, where floating marsh creates different scenery everyday in a huge lagoon, which was absolutely unforgettable.

Attached are a few pictures from there.

I found Say Hueque to be extremely organized and helpful from the beginning to the end, and tour coordinators were always available.

My trip back home was fine, although I wish I had another couple of weeks off to travel in South America :)

As I was telling you over the phone, I was extremely happy with my trip. I loved everything I have seen and I met many lovely people. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to my friends who share my travel style. Below you find a couple of specific comments.

I really enjoyed the landscape on the tour to Humahuaca etc but I thought the tour was long and a lot of time was spent on the bus. On the other hand, the tour to Cachi had the perfect length (in fact, I was happy it was after the long day to Humahuaca) and the landscape was also extraordinary. If it’s possible, I would include a trekking tour, just to get a break from all the time on the bus :) I’m sure places like Cuesta del Obispo are great for hiking :)
I loved the tours in San Pedro! Also the bus ride from Salta to San Pedro goes through breath-taking places. The owner of Hostal Katarpe is just great! She constantly checked that everything was fine with me and was extremely kind.
As for the 3 day tour to salar de Uyuni, it was one of the best trip I’ve ever had! And believe me, I’ve had quite a few :) Our driver, Valerio, was very skilled and a lovely person to talk to.

How are you? Sorry for the late response, taking awhile to adjust back to the States. Regarding feedback, would you like me to write a review on TripAdvisor or another forum? I also attached a few of my favorite pictures from my trip.

Here are the answers to your questions:

Which hotel did you like the most?
For the hotel quality, definitely Patios de Lerma in Salta! The only problem was that is was too far from the city center (11 blocks away). I also liked the service I received at Patagonia Jarke in Ushuaia. The hotel staff was so nice and so helpful!

What was the best of traveling with us? Is there anything you think could be improved?
The best thing about traveling with Say Hueque was definitely having a planned itinerary without having anything to worry about. It was reassuring having a driver pick me up/drop me off at the airport and also having a laid out plan everyday. All the excursions were top notch and the guides were always so helpful and knowledgeable. In regards of improvements, it would be nice to have a contact during off hours (weekends and after hours) to help answer any questions or concerns. Also, some of the hotels I stayed at were quite far from the city center.

Thanks so much for the recipe, do you know how the empanada wrappers are made of or how to make them?

How was your trip to Turkey?? I LOVED your pictures! Hope you had a great time and I want to hear all about it!
