We are back and rested up after our trip. We had a wonderful time!

We very much liked the La Cantera hotel in Iguazu. We felt it gave us more of a flavor of being in the jungle which is what we really wanted. The rooms were great. The restaurant very good, and the overall ambience beautiful and relaxing.

The tours through the parks were especially memorable— we’ll have many wonderful memories of seeing the Iguazu Falls as well as hiking the trails. We were so impressed with you (Constanza), and your in depth knowledge of the parks’ flora and fauna. And your infectious enthusiasm. You did a wonderful job and we really enjoyed our time with you!

We can’t think of any improvements… everything worked so well… our bus drivers were great and getting through Brazilian customs went smoothly. The only thing we can think of was that our hotel reservation seemed to have gotten lost when we arrived at La Cantera hotel. But they gave us a very nice upgraded room for the first night. And our room for the remainder of the stay was also quite nice.

Hey Ursula!!! Sorry to take SO LONG to write you back, I have had this on my to-do list since the trip but it has been pretty crazy this month!! I did have a short trip to Las Vegas right after I got back, it was my sister's bachelorette party. I was so tired, I woke up 30 minutes after I was supposed to leave for the airport... and I hadn't packed yet! Luckily I made it, and the trip was great. :)

As far as trip feedback - I had a great time and was just shocked at how beautiful the Salta-Purmamarca part of the trip was. Amazing, amazing place. That and Iguazu are battling it out for the #1 best spot I've been to! The best hotel was definitely Casa Sur Bellini in Buenos Aires. The worst was probably the one in Puerto Iguazu - we had the enormous room right behind the hotel desk, and it was REALLY loud. People sitting in the lobby talking sounded louder in our room than in the lobby, and even a small amount of rain sounded like a monsoon... and it was always raining! :) It was a little hard to sleep. Minor complaint though!

It's hard to pick a 'best' part of this trip! I have wanted to go to Iguazu for about 13 years, so that was a big moment to finally get there. When I put the photos up on Facebook, all my friends were asking 'WHERE IS THIS PLACE??' :) The mountains around Salta though, that was also spectacular.

I guess the only thing that could be improved is to add Palermo neighborhoods to the Buenos Aires city tour. I was lucky enough to have an extra day to wander around, and got down to Palermo Viejo - it was the first time I saw a really fun, vibrant place (besides La Boca!). Every building was painted with murals, there was an awesome little street fair with actually handmade products, to me it was the best part of the city! Also, this may be a personal taste thing, but the wine on the wine tasting was pretty awful. :( Was a little disappointing after the great winetasting in Buenos Aires. The drive down to Cafayate was gorgeous though! And we met some very nice people. All of our guides were wonderful and very, very helpful - especially when all the ATMs in Iguazu ran out of money. :) Overall I am extremely pleased with Say Heuque and how the trip went, and have already recommended Argentina & your tour group to several people!

The whole trip was great and Waterfalls are amazing!!!
You just should update prices in itinerary as entrances and boats trips are more expensive now.

We loved our trip to Iguazu! We were very pleased with all the tour guides and drivers we came in contact with. The guide at the falls was very informative and kept us going at a good pace to keep it interesting. The town of Iguazu itself doesn't have a lot going on but we thought the hotel was very well located for exploring. We did not love the hotel itself though, the wifi was unusable in the room unlike how it is advertised on the hotel website and we felt it was a little overpriced for the value. We were a little disappointed we could not go to the Brazil side, the visa was a little intense!! Constanza has been AMAZING!!! She has gone above and beyond to help up get back our daughters lost friend, a stuffed hippo that is very important to her! Thanks again for a very nice trip we loved the falls!!! An amazing memorable trip!

Thanks for the note and the recipe. We had a great time in Iguazu and Rio. I would say the L'Hotel Palermo was our favorite hotel, the staff really took care of us and helped us navigate the neighborhood. (We went to the milonga you suggested our last night in Buenos Aires). I thought the whole Say Hueque team did a really nice job in Buenos Aires from you, to the driver, to the tour you booked for Sunday.
Other thoughts, if I had to do it over I think I'd rather see the Brazilian side of the falls first then the Argentinean side although that is a minor comment. Also while the Argecam tour guide (Francisco) was great their destination host just dropped us off with a rushed introduction the day we got to Puerto Iguazu in contrast to you sitting down with us in Buenos Aires or Ilana doing so in Rio.
We're still sorting through our 1500 or so pictures, will send some along when I get to them.

How are you? We arrived home safely. Unfortunately it has been raining since we arrived home. Oh well. A typical Irish summer.

I'm sorry I'm only replying now.

We had a fantastic time in Argentina.
Buenos Aires was amazing city. Lovely to walk around as there is so much to see. The food (steak) is amazing and the wine just as good. We stayed in the NH city tower hotel. We thought it was fantastic. The location was excellent. We could walk to san telmo at night for food and to the bars, and walk the other direction to the shopping streets and Palermo. The staff were very friendly and our room was spotless.

We then went to Puerto iguazu. We were met at the airport and everything was explained to us. Fantastic service. We checked in the hotel, the Saint George, and Costanzo waited until we were sorted and advised us on activities for the evening.
We were met promptly in the morning for our trip to the Argentinian side of the falls. We had a great day. Costanzo explained everything and told us a lot of information about the park and its wildlife which was very interesting. She then advised us on other walks around the falls and we had a thoroughly enjoyable day.
We were picked up promptly the next day by Dave, I think, and went to the Brazilian side of the falls. Dave was great, he did all the passport work for us and it was a very smooth crossing of the border. He was also very knowledgeable about the park and wildlife. It was equally amazing from he Brazilian side. We were then dropped to the airport after the tor.

Overall our experience with Say Hueque was excellent. We had a personal guide from start to finish which I would definitely recommend. We had an in depth tour of the falls and were well informed and looked after at all times
