We've just arrived in Ushuaia and now have a little time to say a very big thank you for organising a wonderful stay at Iguazu Falls. Everything worked like clockwork.

Our guide Mabel was great. She took time to explain things clearly to us, highlighting the various plants and animals in the national park. She walked at our pace and allowed us plenty to time to 'feel' being at these truly spectacular falls. She is passionate about them and wants to share the passion. She knew all the 'must see' places at the falls and we really appreciated having our own guide.

The falls are in flood and the volume of water is absolutely staggering. In fact, had we arrived a day earlier it would not have been possible to walk to the viewing platform for the Devil's Cauldron as the walkway was closed. The water was lapping just under the walkway. It was a fantastic sight.

Mabel also knows her way around the Bird Park which was most useful particularly when we had to run for shelter during a very thunderstorm.

My friends and I (John was not well and didn't go) went for dinner to De La Fonte restaurant and had a lovely meal. We were very surprised that you would find a restaurant serving such quality meals in a town the size of Puerto Iguazu. Definitely worth recommending.

We booked a table to dine at De La Fonte for 8:00pm and organised for Alberto (the driver who met us at the airport) to collect us from the Sheraton Hotel at 7:15pm. As the park closes at 6:00pm, we just drove past the gate house without being stopped. Alberto collected us at 10:00pm and all we had to do when we drove back into the park was show our Sheraton Hotel key to the security officer at the national park gate house. There was no extra entry fee. This is probably worth telling your clients who are staying at the Sheraton that they can leave the park to go for dinner at Puerto Iguazu but must take their hotel key with them when returning the same evening and there is no extra charge to re-enter the park.

We're now off to explore the 'delights' of Ushuaia township (shouldn't take too long) but I just wanted to say a VERY BIG THANK YOU for organising a fantastic, professional and stress-free tour to Iguazu Falls.

I could not be happier with Say Hegue from start to finish! I never had to worry about how I was going to get around.

My guide at Iguazu Falls was outstanding! Not only was she a fine English speaker and extremely knowledgable, but also an empathetic person and lots of fun.

The best hotel was Hotel del Antigo Convento in Salta. The staff is very friendly. The hotel was clean and neat.

My favourite excursion was to the Humahuaca Gorge. The colourful landscapes were breath taking.

Say Hueque was reliable and took care of all factors to assure that all went well. The only suggestion for improvement that I have is that the third-party agency in Porto Iguazu should take its passengers in good time to the airport to be able to check-in and clear customs in good time.

The bottom line is that I would highly recommend Say Hueque as being a very reliable travel agency.

Just wanted to let you know that everything on our trip was amazing. I loved the hotels we were at - awesome. The transfers to and from the airport and hotels were perfect - other than confusion about the non-existent last one - which is no problem.
The tours were awesome.

Today, which is 9th, we have a day off at calafate finally, I spent a few hours in town of calafate. will be flying off tomorrow. All went well as arranged so far.
For the arrangement for Ushuaia, I think all went well except the hiccup on the first day. But we enjoyed all the activities even the canoeing. The other members in the same group told me that we changed their view of chinese...I have to emphasis that we are from hong kong(hk).
For the arrangement from Argentina n chile, we did have a little concern on the 'bus' arrangement especially with a new place name where the boarder custom is. Since just the word bus normally means public bus to us in hk. After going through the whole process, we now really understand what really meant exactly. Changing four vehicles for the transfer was a bit tiring. Hope that one day they allow one vehicle for the whole journey.
For the stay in chalten was nice, we manage to have two easy track next to the information center on the first day. The following morning, the track A part of the track to Fitzroy, then your suggestion on walking along the riverbank in the afternoon. We were lucky that we have chances to see a clear Fitzroy.
FYI, One of the restaurant on your list, ruca mahuida, is closed. We tried another one called Napoleon which offer nice food quality matches the price, well actually over our expectation!
For the day off today was just nice, we need to recuperate.
Amount the four different hotels, here is my ranking n some remarks.
1. Las dunas at calafate, spacious that we can walk in room comfortably, good view over laguna argentina, new n clean. Good presentation though a bit far from center.
2. The hotel torros, the extra stay in the Paine, has good location, good restaurant n good view, but room is small.
3. Hotel Terra the fuegal, spacious.
4. Pudu lodge, service personnel is nice, but the lodge's fixture n furniture are mostly worn out, some even blackened at the corner. Doesn't seem to have any maintenance. Small room n a bit far from center.

Here is my feedback as promised.

Overall I feel that you did very well in formulating my itinerary for Patagonia. The selection of places to visit and the duration in each place to maximise my experience was excellent. The selection of hotels and transfers was well handled.

Specific comments:
Your tour agent in El Calafate, Huellas del Sur was highly professional and handled activities very well. However Plane Patagonia could have been better, specifically my pick up at the airport when I arrived in Punta Arenas. He turned up late. The issue here appears to be that Plane Patagonia is located in Puerto Natales and not in Punta Arenas.
All hotels were good, my only comment is around Kau Kaleshan in El Calafate, which had gas heaters in the room that was quite dangerous. I had to switch the heater off. On the other hand the hotel was well located to the town centre. The Austral at Ushuaia was very good.
I found the experience of staying at Torres Del Paine park wonderful, it was good that Henry convinced me to stay in the park rather than at Puerto Natales.
I enjoyed all the bus trips and had no issue with the buses. The bus from Ushuaia to Punta Arenas was a good experience.

My next comment is for your improvement and also reflects similar comments that I got from other Australians that I met at El Chalten.
You need to be more proactive in giving information whether good or bad to a customer. IN many instances I had to chase you up and did not get a response to my emails. If you have any issues in getting a bus ticket its ok to say so. I would have been quite happy if you dropped me an email saying that my final documentation will be delayed due to a reason. This is my only criticism of Say Hueque.

Finally, Say Hueque did a good job with my visit and I will use you the next time I am visiting Argentina and will recommend you to my friends. I will write a good review on Trip advisor in the next few days.

Dear Florencia,

Thank you for taking care of us in Argentina. It was quite an adventure especially with my very limited Spanish. We really enjoyed seeing and photographing all the new plants and animals, glaciers, mountains, buildings, museums, and people. We took 8,000 pictures. Everyone was helpful and I know my Spanish must sound terrible since tense, gender, case, and pronunciation are all off. I know it must seem very strange to hear a reasonably intelligent adult person speaking so poorly. Our return home was painful for me since I had a cold and then an ear infections which I am still recovering from.

The nicest hotel was Hosteria Las Torres but you must reserve early if you want a cheap room. They had the best breakfast but the lunches and dinners are expensive. You can eat at the bar for a lot less and the meals are large enough for 2 people to share so the cost is very reasonable and the hours are better for those of us from the USA. We also had a good time at Two Hotel since the manager lived in NJ for 5 years and he helped us out when the Tango show missed our reservation. The manager gave us the largest and best room in the hotel (906). That was nice of him!

The best excursion was at Torres del Paine since they had a driver, car, and guide and a lunch. All the excursions should say if there is a car for the whole day or just for delivery and pick up or not at all and if there is a lunch. That would make planning a lot simpler. All the excursions were good, the guides knowledgeable and the one with you in Buenos Aires was interesting and fun but the setting was not as novel for us since Buenos Aires is a bit like New York City.

I think it would be nice to have optional night excursions to variety shows, classical guitar, art shows, Opera activities, etc. such as the Ipora Lena show in Brazil.
