Thank you very much for your email! We were actually landing in London the day you sent the email! But we had to look through our photos to choose the right one before we could respond properly!

We wish we could have stayed much longer to explore Argentina further, it is such a lovely country! We can happily say that our experience with Say Hueque has been fantastic. Before we even flew to Argentina you and your colleagues answered all of our questions and that really helped to alleviate our stress and apprehension.
Once in Argentina, everything went to plan, we were picked up at the agreed time, we would hear from the tour companies as you mentioned, and more importantly all the activities were outstanding. One of the highlights of our trip was El Chalten, this small charming town with all the adventure waiting for us, and our trek to the Viedma Glacier is something we will never forget.
We also really appreciated the mini guide of the different cities as we were moving from one to another. Every restaurant advised were fantastic, especially Sentolla in Puerto Natales and Maria Lola in Ushuaia! I could have eaten that King Crab everyday for the rest of my life :)

Finally, what made this trip an unforgettable one is you Carolina and the fact that you checked on us regularly, making sure everything was ok and helping us when needed. It was very kind of you and it made a real difference.

Thank you again for everything! We will definitely be back in Argentina, and we will contact Say Hueque again :)

Sorry for late answer, but I have been very busy at work since I came home. And the last 4-5 days I have been ill partly in bed.
Well, back to our trip. First of all thanks for the bottles of good wine and the lunch offered. Since Christine is still on the road (in Cuba) this is my impression, but I suppose she will agree to most of my comments.

We just loved the North of Argentina. We had a very good driver/guide (Santiago) who was explaining a lot and who was speaking very good english. Very good accommodations, specially Villa Vicuña in Cafayate and also Posta de Purmamarca. In Salta the Bloomers was OK (specially the breakfast was very good), but Antiguo Convento was much better. In San Pedro I don’t know why we choosed Tambillo in the first place. It was really a disaster. When we came back it did not seemed like it was going to change very much. Thank you so much for moving us to Don Raul which was very, very nice. Unfortunatly we did not choose this hostal from the beginning.
San Pedro is an extremely touristic place. The little town is full of backpackers, so we felt a bit old here (haha), but now we have seen it and that’s it. The so called center (downtown) was nicely refurbished though and there were some real good restaurants. Good value for money even if the whole place seems to be a bit overprized (which is normal for such a touristic place). The Moon Valley trip was very nice, the Geysir trip so and so. The Geysir area we saw on the Uyuni trip was much more impressive though.
The Uyuni trip was great. We were lucky with our group and the driver was excellent (Valerio). He was explaining a lot and even if he was talking only spanish we were able to understand quite a lot (with our limited spanish knowledges). In our group there was a french guy who spoke spanish so he translated a lot too. I am glad we choose 4 days/ 3 nights for this trip. It was so much to see. The accomodations for the first 2 nights was much better than expected, the last night was more what we expected. The food was also much better than expected. I think it is good that you prepare the guests that the standard can be quite poor. We were positivly surprised. I would do the trip again but I would depart from Argentina.

At last we thought we had chossen too many days in Santiago, but after all Santiago was a very big surprise. A very nice City. The Hotel Montecarlo was perfectly situated just around the corner from a lot of bars and restaurants and close to evrything. The hotel was also good. We had a very nice room, very practical with a closet and a lot of places to store our stuff. Very convienient when you stay so many days. I would definitly choose the same hotel again.

So evrything worked out very well and once again we had a great trip to South America and hope to be back soon again. There is still a lot to see.

Please forgive me for not getting back sooner. I don’t know where to begin as everything was fantastic.
Our trip to Iguazu Falls was amazing. The guide was very informed and we really enjoyed our time there. Before I booked with Say Hueque I tried to get a reservation at the Sheraton myself. Of course the hotel was
completely booked. After staying at St. George’s in town, I was glad I was not at the Sheraton. It was a lovely hotel the St. George and right in the middle of town so we had easy access to everything. We went to a fantastic place for dinner The Wheel (in English). Our guides were on time the next day.
We also booked two other trips with Say Hueque, one to Mendoza and one to El Calafate. Mendoza was also fantastic. Our guide Gabby was outstanding. Of all the guides I believe she was the most informative and really new her area and history extremely well. Our hotel in downtown Mendoza was great. Hotel Argentino was an easy walk to all the restaurants and the activity at the park across the street was great.
We went to two wineries. Mendel was bar the far the best one. The tour there was fantastic, the owner was very knowledgeable.
Our tour to El Calafate was also amazing. The day we went to the glaciers we were picked up on time and had an experience of a lifetime visiting Perito Moreno. The guide was very nice and also knowledgeable. Our hotel Kau Yuatan was in a great location and was my husband’s favorite. The setting was beautiful, the restaurant on site was outstanding the service was great. Everyone was so helpful. The next day we had as leisure. The town was nice to explore.
All in all our experience with Say Hueque was outstanding. We were picked up and dropped off everywhere, shuttles were on time, drivers were extremely helpful and pleasant. Thank you for giving us a trip of a lifetime.

Patty, Overall, we were very satisfied with Say Hueque. We liked all three hotels, they were all well located and pleasant. Everything went very smoothly in Argentina and we were impressed you had someone there to meet us when our flight changed and we appreciated how you handled the hotel in BA when the AC went out. There were some things we think could have been better, however. The city tour in BA was useful, but disappointing since it was in both English and Spanish, so a lot of time was wasted. They also took us to the soccer stadium, which was not part of the plan and not very interesting. We were also frustrated by slow response from your office when were were planning the trip. Before we paid the deposit, Henry was very responsive and helpful. Once we paid, we were assigned to someone else (then back to Henry) and it became very difficult to get responses to questions, often taking a week and several queries. Because of this, we ended up using another, more responsive agency to make our arrangements in Mendoza. In the end, everything worked out very well and we had a great trip, Thanks again for your part it making it a great success. Marc
