I did a very dumb thing by leaving my new rain coat in the back seat of our last drivers car that picked us up at Del Candelaria and took Jan Clay and I too the Newberry Airport Is it possible to get it from him or ask him to mail into me? Our trip to Iguazu Falls was excellent, even better than we expected. The hotel, El Pueblito Iguazu, was beautiful, the restaurant meals were the best we had on our trip. And of course the Falls were magnificent.

To your questions:
1. We learned about Say Hueque in the Lonely Planet book on Buenos Aires.
2. All the arrangements worked smoothly and the accommodations and tour of the Falls were excellent.
3. We would have been happy with less humidity, if you could have taken care of that!
4. Our tour guide, Diego, was terrific. He was very well-informed, easy to understand, good sense of humor, very accommodating, and he gave us an excellent opportunity to see all of the falls.

Your Patricio was very helpful and accommodating too. The only thing that could have worked more smoothly is if we had know ahead of time about the Carnival closing and have made all arrangements before then, but I understand our trip was planned quite late, and it all worked out because we could meet Patricio at your office. So we are happy with the experience of your services.

Found Say Heuque by Googling "Tour guides in Argentina".

We had been working simultaneously with 3 different travel agencies, trying to come up with an itinerary. Say Hueque clearly knew the most about Argentina and about what was feasible and not feasible. I had some suggestions that were too aggressive time-wise and travel-wise, and Say Heuque let me know so! We were able to go back and forth many times tweaking the itinerary (with Say Heuque's suggestions) until we had it just right. We never felt bad suggesting yet another change, and Say Heuque was efficient and timely in responding back and effecting the change.

The tour guides were all very nice, eager to share their knowledge of the country, and very accommodating. The information they provided us with was very comprehensive. Transfers were all timely and directions as to park fees, meeting times, etc., were right on the money. Restaurant and leisure activity recommendations were very helpful. Prices were reasonable.

The Bel Air, in Buenos Aires. It was very comfortable and centrally located.

Favorite excursion - Perito Moreno glacier - mini trekking across the glacier.

Patricia and Rita? (guide to Colonia); both were super nice and super smart.

We weren't that happy with the Nibepo Aike Estancia. Though the area was beautiful, it was quite a long (and VERY bumpy) trip to see some sheep, walk around, and have lunch. We felt we kind of wasted a day doing that.

Our tour guides, of Vanessa in Buenos Aires, Gaston in Iguazu (Argentina), Margarita in Iguazu (Brazil) & Paolo (Rio) were all fantastic in their own ways
Vanessa`s insight & Gaston`s background of working in the park, were exceptional

The sights we saw of Igauzu Falls & the Rio Carnival were amazing (the hotels were all great & the flights were fine)

Further to our recent trip to Patagonia I wanted to write to you to say thank you on behalf of my wife and Mr and Mrs Shaw for putting together a truly excellent holiday experience. It was also very useful knowing we could ring Ursula at any time should we encounter any problems. There were a couple of occasions we called on her services and were very impressed at how promptly she resolved the issues. She also provided an excellent city tour of Buenos Aires!

Overall we were very happy with all the travel and accommodation arrangements – with one exception. This is not a complaint but something you might want to bear in mind if you are putting together a similar itinerary for another client. Big Bang Patagonia was not what we were expecting after having finished the W trek. Bear in mind our transfer to Puerto Natales was after a full day’s hiking so the last time we had enjoyed a proper meal would have been at breakfast time (7am). We didn’t get to Big Bang Patagonia until 10.15pm so, as I’m sure you can imagine, we were all pretty hungry. The first problem is this is not a hotel – it is a hostel. Secondly it is in the middle of nowhere with no cafes or restaurants open in the immediate vicinity. We were further informed that the hostel offers no food or drink facilities in the evenings (not even water!). The upshot of this is we went to bed having not had a proper meal for over 15 hours. To make matters worse, being in a suburb, we were kept awake all night (soundproofing of rooms was non-existent) by barking dogs. Given we had booked 3-star hotel accommodation, Big Bang Patagonia was a serious let down and definitely the low point of the holiday. I should emphasise that all other accommodation was great!

One other point I would like to raise is regarding the Beagle Channel cruise we were booked on whilst in Ushuaia. Regrettably this was cancelled due to bad weather. According to your Terms and Conditions Say Hueque reserves the right in this circumstance to substitute an alternative activity of equivalent monetary value. On this occasion Ursula informed us that no alternative was available. I’m assuming therefore that we will be able to receive some sort of refund for this particular excursion as it was included within the total cost of the holiday. Ursula said this may well be the case although it may take time to process. I would be grateful if you could confirm this is indeed the case.

Notwithstanding these last two issues, thank you again for a truly excellent three-week experience. We will definitely recommend Say Hueque to our friends.
