Hi Agustina. Yes, we did receive the mini guide and thank you, too, for the recipe and wine list.

POSITIVES about our Say Hueque experience:
1) The full day at the Argentine side of the Iguazu National Park was amazing! Our guide was very friendly, informative, and seemed to have the right balance of giving his group directions for times and places to meet back up and freedom to explore on our own.

2) All the transfers were prompt and the drivers very friendly and polite.

3) The Amerian Hotel was very comfortable, yet a bit of a hike to eat in town.

NEEDS IMPROVEMENT
I would not recommend the trip to the San Ignacio Ruins - at least not for English speaking only travelers. We rode over 3 hours to get there expecting to have a professional guide. There was NO English speaking guide (even though our driver asked for us), and many of the self guided "speaker stations" were broken. So other than to see some of the countryside, we rode over over 6 hours, and saw very little. I don't feel that it was money well spent. Very much a disappointment.

You have been very prompt about responding to all of our emails. We appreciate that.

Happy new year….sorry for the delay in responding. Re-entry was so busy and now it’s February! Finally I can take a few minutes to write.

First of all, thanks so much for all the help you gave me on the recent trip to Argentina. Given the mess with the potential airport strike – your support was essential and very comforting!

· Which hotel did you like the most? - the hotel in BA Casa Sur was wonderful. Great location, amazing service, great restaurant. Loved it!

· Which was your favorite excursion? The tour we took on December 31 was not very good. It was billed as a video tour with highlights of the City. There was no video and the highlights were not very good. We were taken mostly to very touristy locations and the tour guide was not very engaged or knowledgeable. I would suggest you not recommend that tour to anyone esle.

· What was the best of traveling with us? Is there anything you think could be improved? You were very helpful and supportive.

I will post a trip advisor recommendation as well. Thanks again!

Hi Vanessa, We had a fantastic trip touring Igauzu and our stay in BA. Your arrangements and tours were fantastic. Our hotel in Igauzu was first class. American Porto. Our room faced the three countries where the rivers meet. The tour to the falls was great and we enjoyed the adventure boat under the falls. We of course thought that Igauzu falls was amazing. Next we went back to BA and stayed at the Alvear Art hotel that wa also first class and in a good location. The next best tour was to the Estancia where we went hoarseback riding, had a fantastic steak lunch, that had the best meat of all the restaurants we ate at. We saw the Gauchos and dogs handle the cows and the Gauchos gave us a horse demonstration and chef showed us how the meat etc are cooked.

We had a wonderful time and you and your company certainly took very good care of us and travel arrangements worked out perfectly.

Thank you,

Stu Abrams

Ps will send a few photos separately when transfer them to my computer

Dear Caroline
Thank you for your message. I'm still travelling for another 5 weeks. I leave Buenos Aires on Sunday for Colonia y montevenido. It's difficult for me to contact you because my server is only receiving messages. When I return can you please resend the message do I can reply to your request.

I really enjoyed the 2 weeks that say hue organised the guides were fantastic, polite, considerate and thoughtful I just loved Patagonia and those small towns. I your company couldn't be faulted except the rude people from USA that joined us at Iguaxu. I followed your instructions and it worked perfectly for me.

I now wish I'd continued this trip with your organisation but because I found you on the web I was concerned if it wasn't up yo scratch I would be stuck with it. However that wasn't the case. I wills highly recommend you to all in Australia. I may come back in 2017 to run a cooking course in Bolivia. If I do this I'll be in touch.

Thank you

We really enjoyed our South American vacation and want to thank you

We really enjoyed our South American vacation and want to thank you

Carolina, We are just returning to our 'normal' lives in the USA. We really enjoyed our South American vacation and want to thank you, Yuna and Tamy for your help in making this vacation an organized and comfortable one. All the transfers worked out really well. Everyone was punctual. Tour guides were considerate and well informed. One negative to the trip was the stay at Refugio Grand Paine. Granted we were in the national park and the goal was to help us trek as much of the "W" as possible. However, we were unprepared for the unsanitary conditions that we encountered at the Refugio. I think going forward you might want to forewarn guests of the stark contrast especially when going from deluxe hotels to a setting such at that. Also, it would have been helpful if you had advised me to take along a towel as none were provided. The other feedback I would give was that after we hiked from Grand Paine Refugio to Grey Glacier to meet the catamaran, we searched a while before figuring out the location of where the boat would arrive. Clearer directions stating that the dock was situated by the Park Ranger Station would have been helpful. Other than that...we give Say Hueque high marks. We very much liked all of the hotels. Wish we had more time at the Singular in Puerto Natales but all the places were comfortable and had good service. Thanks again, Adios, Linda Gilman

We really enjoyed our trip to Argentina and thank you for help with the planning!

Hi!

We really enjoyed our trip to Argentina and thank you for help with the planning!

In terms of Buenos Aires, my daughter and I stayed at the Hotel L’Palermo prior to moving to Casa Sur Bellini. We really loved the Hotel l’Palermo in terms of quaintness and location. We enjoyed walking around that neighborhood and going to the restaurants in the area. We liked the Casa Sur Bellini too but the area around the hotel was not as interesting to us. We did enjoy the pool of that hotel. Definitely more luxurious rooms as well but again the location not as good.

Our private tour of Buenos Aires was very good and we did enjoy the tango show! We also went kayaking on our own in the Tigre area using El Dorado kayaks and would recommend them.

In Bariloche, the hotel rooms (Cacique Inacayal) were a little worn but the public spaces (bar, pool, etc) were very nice. We enjoyed the history and nature tour and we were with a couple from Italy who were also fit so we did a 2 hour hike with Fredrico. That was a great excursion! The Brazo Tristeza boat tour was fun as well but the crowd was a little slower so the hike to the falls was easy but slow. In retrospect, maybe a more adventuresome excursion that day would have been better like kayaking or rafting or biking.

In Calafate, we loved the mini trekking tour and that was one of the highlights of the trip! We also did the Marpatag cruise (booked on our own) and though expensive was a beautiful day with great service. We also did the Trekker in Calafate which was a fun outing, though maybe a little expensive for what you did. The hotel was fine in that you could walk to town.

In Iguazu, the Loi suites was a beautiful accommodation and would stay there again. I thought our tour of the falls was good. It was recommended we do the boat ride with the jungle jeep tour but in retrospect, I think the boat ride alone would have been fine.

Overall, the service was very good. Everyone was prompt and friendly and we felt well taken care of. We would recommend your services to friends!

thanks again!

Hello Federico,

I hope you are all well in Buenos Aires. For us, it's back to the cold, and to work of course. We would really have liked to stay longer...

As far as hotels are concerned, we thought they all had their special charm.
If I had to name a favourite, it would be the hotel Killa, in Cafayate. The staff was splendid and very helpful (the manageress gave us a lot of advice about rte 40. The same is valid for the El Cortijo stall, in Cachi).
The view from the terrasse of hotel Iruja, overseeing the village and valley, was unique.
El Antiguo Convento, in Salta, had a special "old Spain" atmosphere.
Kau Kaleshen, in Calafate, had a pleasant mountain chalet feel.
The setting, by the Beagle straight, of the hotel Tolkeyen was splendid.
These were the favourite, but we have no complaints about the ones we didn't mention.

One of the highlights of the trip was the drive up the Abra del Acay, something we would never have done had you not sent us there !
Some people here think we were crazy to do it ("can you imagine, a breakdown of the car in that remote area??" Well, says I, no risk, no fun Ha Ha). We thought it was very exciting, but I have to say that with any kind of water (rain), a 4X4 would be required. Route 9, from San Salvador de Jujuy to Salta was also a jungle beauty!

We also enjoyed the excursions, especially the mini trekking at the Perito Moreno. Beautiful scenery, with an excellent and very informative staff.
The laguna de los 3, in El Chalten was also a must (though it is a long walk!).
I also recommend both excursions in Ushuaia. Gabriel and Federico, from Nunatak did an excellent job, and the boat trip, on a relatively small ship that alowed to approach the small islands, was very enjoyable.

All in all, a fantastic experience that made us appreciate Argentina, and make us want to come back.
Thank you for that, sincerely,

Fintan and Pilar

Ezequiel & Yanina:
We are back in Kansas City and I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our Argentina trip and how great the planning and services were. Particularly, we appreciated the greeting and help from Vanesa and Roberto. Our city guide, Victoria was great. When we changed our return from Uruguay your team responding quickly and efficiently! Seeing Roberto’s smiling face upon our return was a great relief!

In addition, your tour arrangements in Colonia, Mendoza and Bariloche were excellent. Our guide in helped rearrange our return, our guide in Mendoza went the extra mile to find another vineyard to visit when we found a scheduled one closed. Our guide and driver in Bariloche, Alexandra and Fernando were outstanding. I would highly recommend them for anyone you send there.

Lastly, our final driver in Buenos Aires, the Polish guy, Ven (??) was just the very best. We couldn’t have had better drivers than he and Roberto. Please give all your team our thanks.

Regards,
Terry
