Dear Patricia,
Thank you so much for your email. You have been so kind and thorough. Thank you so much for your hospitality and all your help and information.
My favorite hotel in Buenos Aires was L'hotel Palermo. It was a little oasis in the midst of noise and crowd. I loved the beautiful yard, pool and garden room and of course the breakfast in a relaxed setting.
The most beautiful tour was a boat tour/hike in Braso Tristessa lake, led by Kawen tours.
My favorite hotel in Calafate was l'estapa . Their views, quietness, multiple rooms to read and relax and the very best gourmet dinner, lunch and breakfast. It was a feas
I just loved lake Argentina and Perito Moreno was the biggest highlight of my trip.
Thank you so much for all your help and kindness.

Venesa posted this on Trip Advisor Today… Now I’m off to Tahoe…and it’s snowing!!! :-)
From the first time I contacted Say Hueque, after an internet search for Argentinian travel experts, I was most pleased with the outcome. Wether with a few couples or traveling as a solo couple, we tend to prefer traveling independently of tour groups. But to do that successfully, it is critical that you identify an organization on the ground that will asset you in your planning, preparation and of course that all important on the ground co-ordination, communication and expert travel assistance. We have taken this approach throughout Africa, Europe, and Asia, this was our first such venture to South America, and we were fortunate to hook-up with excellent travel experts in our previous adventures, and I am please to report that Say Hueque was among the best such groups that we have contracted with in our adventures. Their staff in planning has great knowledge of their specialty countries, and are very understanding as they tirelessly provide feedback and suggestions as the trip takes form and is scheduled. Then from the moment we arrived at Buenos Aires, their staff, wether it be air/ground/transfer, tour choices or hotels all were just brilliant.
As with all such trips there are always portions that stand out as the best of the best…you know the ones that come to mind even years later which continue to bring a smile to your face! Our list on this trip include:
Our City Tour, with Vanesa from Say Hueque
The Argentine Polo Day, Buenos Aires
Charco Hotel in Colonia, Uruguay
Upsala Glazier Cruise with MarPatag
The Estancia Alta Vista nearby Calafate
4WD Lake Tour of Excondido and Fagando Lakes
The Opera Tour in Buenos Aires
We plan to return to Argentina again soon, this time going to the Wine Areas and Iguazu falls, you can be assured Say Hueque will be planning that trip also!
Thanks Again,
Susan and Les

Hi Patty,
The flight home was very long, but we made it.
We were very happy with the trip and with the services that Say Hueque provided.
Hotel: All the hotels were very nice, although the Puerto Iguazu Loi Suites was pretty special with the jungle atmosphere.
Excursion: The Stella Australis cruise was fantastic. And of course, Iguazu Falls are also spectacular.
We particularly appreciated that everyone was very punctual. It was nice not to have to worry about getting picked up. We also appreciated all of your tips about what to do in Buenos Aires. I don’t have any suggestions for improvements. If we come to Argentina again, we will definitely contact you.
Marjorie
The best of traveling with you is that you made it easy for us to get the journey exactly the way we wanted, tailormade for our wishes and needs.

i Vanesa,
We are now back i Norway.
Here is our feedback regarding Say Hueque:
Which hotel did you like the most?
The hotel we liked the most is L'Hotel Palermo. This hotel was located in, by our means, the nicest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires. We also like the atmosphere, a free space in the middle of a big city. Nice rooms and great breakfast. Also not too far from subway so we easily could get around.
Which was your favorite excursion?
By no doubt the Iguazu Falls. Both Argentinian and Brazilian side since they showed in different ways. This is the most incredable place I've ever been.
What was the best of traveling with us?
The best of traveling with you is that you made it easy for us to get the journey exactly the way we wanted, tailormade for our wishes and needs. Friendly and helpful employees that met us all the places.
Is there anything you think could be improved?
We did not like so much the eager to take photos when we were on the tango show. We were disturbed in the middle of our meals to have photos with the dancers. And also the food there was not to great. We had looked very much forward to a real Argentinian beef, but this was not very tasteful.
Enclosed you will find a couple of pictures.
Thank you very much for the receipe for empanandas!
Kind regards, Hilde

Hi Carolina,
My apologies for the delay. We have just returned home after a wonderful trip. Here are a few notes in response to your request:
The Darwin tour on Stella Australis was the highlight of our trip. Everything about the 4 night/3 day trip was excellent, from the "outings" on the zodiac boats to amazing places, especially Cape Horn, to the presentations by experts, excellent meals and service, and good company--this aspect of our trip was exceptional and we would recommend it to all with an interest in exploring the southernmost parts of Tierra del Fuego. We also enjoyed the trekking and rowing excursion to the Tierra del Fuego National Park, as well as our free time in Punta Arenas and Ushuaia.
We liked both hotels arranged by Sey Hueque. The guest rooms and lobby spaces in both hotels were very nice. Breakfast at Ilaia in Punta Arenas was particularly good. Altos in Ushuaia was very helpful with a number of special requests that we had like making copies of a business document, having laundry ready on time, helping to find a missing credit card, etc.
All other arrangements worked well except for transfer from Stella Australis to our hotel in Ushuaia. The driver left without us and had to be contacted to come back to get us. Other transfers were fine and the arrangements for our flight on to Bariloche went very smoothly.
All in all, we were very pleased with Sey Hueque's service and support. Thanks to everyone on your travel team!
Best regards,
Pamela and Michael
For the rest, I think you made us really love Argentina!

Hi Florencia and Ezequiel,
actually I had in mind to write you to thank for the great organization of our trip!
We were really happy, especially with the help in organizing everything just 4 days in advance!!!! Great job!
Everything went smooth, the transportation were well organized and punctual, the hotels just the right level we were expecting and in a very friendly environment. I really liked BoBo hotel and the Estancia in El Calafate with the cow and horses around.
For the problem with the single bad, I think I might have checked something wrong in the form you sent me, and I appreciated your quick moves to solve the mistake.
We liked a lot the city tour and the Perito Moreno excursion with mini trekking. Both guides were great!
In Buenos Aires we were able to visit many things on our own, enjoying going around in the park in Palermo, visited Teatro Colon, San Telmo market etc... In El Chalten we did the hike to Laguna de Los Tres... amazing!
Just a notice, we thought Torres del Pines was not worth the distance and hours of bus, and you might have advised us that it would have been a bad road, and the hikes we did were not that great. Still, it was an experience, we saw many animals and get to know many Argentinians on the bus, and it is true that your first suggestions was Estancia Cristina instead.
For the rest, I think you made us really love Argentina!
I hope we can come back, and we'll consider choosing you again if we'll go to South America.
Cheers
Luisa
Indeed, kudos to you and to Say HueQue for a well organized and perfectly executed trip that fit exactly what we were expecting and prepared for.

Hi Vanesa,
I have been meaning to write to you for some days now, but something always came up because of the hassle of returning to our normal routine after two weeks of a wonderful trip to your country.
Indeed, kudos to you and to Say HueQue for a well organized and perfectly executed trip that fit exactly what we were expecting and prepared for. About the only glitch we had was our excursion to Viedma Lake, a result of a mixup. Even that worked out well because we needed a rest after the long flight, the long day in Buenos Aires and the tour of Lake Argentino. All in all, we couldn't have asked for anything better.
As to specifics, we liked Mirador del Lago in El Calafate the best. The room was very nice, with plenty of electrical connections, the service excellent (the only hotel where breakfast was served from 6:00 AM), had a fine restaurant and the proximity to the heart of the city was just right.
The only hotel we didn't care for much was in Buenos Aires, Hotel Palermo on Thames Street, specifically for the first night. Even that was solved when we came back to the capital and got a different, much quieter room. It was a pity though that we had to wait for a full breakfast until almost 8:00 AM, especially when we had an early start. But all was compensated for because of the charm of the Palermo district of Buenos Aires.
We cannot single out a "best liked" excursion. All were different and we loved all of them. The guides were excellent, very informative and friendly. We never felt from pick up at the hotel and drop off back that we were lost and not cared for. And, perhaps, that was the best of traveling with you. They say in America that if it ain't broke, don't fix it. And that just fits you perfectly. I cannot think of a single thing that you can or should improve upon.
Thank you for the empanada recipe. I certainly going to make it. The only problem is that we cannot get her ready-made empanada dough. I think french dough which available in every supermarket can be a fine substitute. Incidentally, the empanadas at the ranch were out of this world.
Do not hesitate to use us as a reference in the future. And the best to you,
Betty and George
PS The photo I liked the best,
some comments to help with the great experience I had:
- Kimberly Saxtonsome comments to help with the great experience I had:
Hi,
Below are some comments to help with the great experience I had:
-more details on the trips would help, say how long hiking, driving/touring will take. One day we thought we'd be hiking a lot and ended up driving around most of the day, and another day we did a 7 hour hike! We loved the hike, but these things are important to know, especially if someone isn't as fit or whatnot.
-Give links and pictures to the hotels that are booked for us. I really like the Buenos Aires hotel, but was surprised at how tiny the rooms were for El Calafate, Chalten, and Torres del Paine. If I'd had known how small they were I would have paid for a better hotel.
-There were times when we had shared services when our itinerary said the trip was supposed to private. Verify with the sister companies whether it will be shared or private and put this on the itinerary. We almost missed a flight because we were picked up 30 minutes late in El Calafate in a bus, then stopped at like 3 hotels before going to the airport. Our itinerary said this was supposed to be a private service.
If people pay for a private service then they should get private service, otherwise don't charge the premium.
-Either give links or listed options of what activites are available in each city: a couple of the places (Mendoza, Calafate) we visited we wanted to do some tours (on the free day that we arrived) but you have to book then at least a day ahead....so we could have done said activity if we knew about it beforehand but instead missed out because our other days were already planned and couldn't book it.
Mendoza- give some more options of what wineries to visit. We loved Vistalba, and that was the only one we loved. Links, pictures, etc will help visitors decide what they prefer. Also the second vineyard after we went to- they didn't even have our names on the list so we couldn't tour/taste there. We ended up going to another one instead which my group preferred, but just an fyi.
Thanks hope that helps.
