Dear Sergio,

I first learned about Say Hueque just cruising the internet looking for vineyard tours. My highlight of traveling with you was having an excellent English speaking and knowledgeable guide.

The excursions they were all excellent. Mendel was extra special because of the age of the place, what we got to see and experience, and the wonderful hostess.

Both Cecilia, our guide and Damian, our driver, were professional, prompt, courteous, and friendly. Great people.

This was not a trip driven much by budget. If it were, I do think the overall price was a bit high. I would have liked a choice of hotels. Staying on site with the family at Robles Besares was fine but some people might be put off by that.

We learnt about you through our friend Barry McKerrow who was organising a trip to Iquazu Falls.

The highlights were the National Park and the waterfalls, also the well set up access throughout the park and over the falls. Amazing views. The tracks and viewing platforms were well cared for and easily accessible . Seeing both the Argentinian and Brazilian views was great. Transport was good, comfortable and reliable. It was great being picked up and taken back to the airport and to our hotel.

Improvement recommendations: I would recommend if visitors where taking the boat trip at the bottom of the falls in winter as we did that it would be suggested/recommended to buy or for your tour guide to provide/loan a plastic poncho or waterproof jacket or something similiar to stay dry. After the waterfall trip we then took the boat trip down river and then the jungle truck back in the late afternoon. We were very wet and unpleasantly cold by the time we reached our hotel.

Our guide Diego was excellent, very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.

We all enjoyed the trip immensely and enjoyed discovering more of Argentina outside of Buenos Aires.

Thank you for checking in with me. Mendoza and surrounding area is beautiful. I have appreciated the checkins at both locations.

I would like to say that there are some parts of my trip that were great and others that were not that good unfortunately.

The airport transfers have been wonderful and very timely. The hotels have been beautiful and clean; with staff being very helpful.

However, the tours and some aspects of the tours were very disappointing. I am aware there was an error for the city tour pick up. I am greatful that alternative plans were arranged allowing me to see the great historical elements of Buenos Aires. However, the tour was rushed. I had the opportunity to walk around certain monuments. However, I did not get the chance to walk around and explore the different areas for extended periods of time. I think I was expecting a walking tour and I am not sure if the usual tour involves driving around to different sites. The Tango show and meal was amazing.

The tours I have had with Huenata are well organized however, I was placed in all Spanish group for both of the tours. The tour guides were able to speak in both Spanish and English however; it was difficult for me to interact with the group. As a solo traveller group tours are usually the opportunity to met and socialize with different people. I was looking forward to seeing award winning vineyards in Mendoza and unfortunately the wine tour was average.

The full day tour through Acongua mountains to Uspallata was absolutely beautiful! However, the restaurant we went to for a late lunch was not good. The service was poor and the food was very poor. This meal cost 200 pesos; for a meal that was half eaten. I paid 280 pesos for a fantastic meal at the hotel. The full day tour should include lunch.

I thought I would be getting a better quality for the tours especially considering it is low season. I am not sure that this tour has given me great value for my money.

It's crazy how quickly time passes... Hopefully this will still be helpful to you.

Our trip that Say Hueque put together for us overall was great. We had one bad experience (see below), but everything else we REALLY enjoyed.

We found you online, possibly through TripAdvisor. We contacted one other agency but decided to book with you because you seemed friendlier and a better fit for us.

It was really nice to have everything coordinated for us, especially all the transportation from place to place.

Even though at first we were disappointed that we were so far from the center, we really enjoyed the Monasterio in Bariloche. The breakfast was very good and we took advantage of the pool and spa.
The Tierra del Fuego in Ushuaia was also nice and was in a great location, although their breakfasts weren't very nice (too limited).

It's hard to say which was our favorite excursion. We loved the day from Puerto Varas to Bariloche, and Jenny was a really great guide (for the Chile side). The trip to Harberton Ranch to see the penguins with Carla was very good.
Also the half day in Bariloche with Lorena was great.
Once we got inside Torres del Paine with Matias, the tour was amazing (so beautiful!)

We don't understand why we were not given a direct bus from Punta Arenas to Ushuaia since we saw that there were at least two other bus companies with direct routes around the same time. We had to stop in Rio Grande and switch buses. The second bus was really disgusting. Really disgusting. It was filthy and smelly and falling apart. There was leftover food mess in the seat pocket, and we didn't have assigned seats so everybody had to fight for seats. The scenery was the most beautiful of the whole trip on these last four hours of the trip, but the windows were so dirty we couldn't see well (and certainly couldn't get any nice photos through them). We've traveled in developing countries with much nicer & cleaner buses. This should definitely NOT have been part of our itinerary. It was awful.

Lastly, you wrote "as you know, we are not a big company". To be honest, we'd thought that at first, but then weren't so sure about that... When we were switched from Yuna to you (Vanesa) it felt like we were just being passed along from one person to another, and that Say Hueque did not value giving us one person to be our contact person. When we were first switched from Karen to Yuna, we figured that it was probably because Karen is a person that coordinates the itineraries and that Yuna would be our contact person through the rest of our time with Say Hueque -- including through our whole trip. When we were told later that we had been switched to you -- without being given any reason why -- it felt a bit like we were on our own, since we hadn't had any contact with you at all. I'd recommend that, whenever you switch contact people for your clients, that you tell them why. Otherwise, they might feel like you're not really there for them, as it did a bit for us.

All that said, we did have a wonderful trip overall. Thanks very much.

I would like to place on record my experiences with your company during my visit to Argentina.
Your staff were very helpful and arranged all that was required.

Accommodation both in BA and Calafate was very good and the staff at both hotels were helpful and friendly.
I was particularly surprised by the handwritten note by Patrica which is rarely seen in this age of electronic form letters.

In Calafate the young lady who hosted the tour of the glacier was very good both in knowledge of the area and her interactions with the group. Very professional and highly commended for her skills.

The HD experience also was very good with the young man as a guide both knowledgeable and had a good interaction with the small group of travellers. Again highly recommended.

My one lessor experience was with the trip to Torres Del Paine. The trip itself was excellent and well worth the long day to see an exceptional environment. I was however less than pleased with the guide and his attitude. As the day wore on I felt that the english speakers were being treated less and less and focus was more on the Spanish speaking travelers. I know it was at the end of the tourist season and probably guides get a little jaded but I felt the attitude was less than positive. The day was rounded out by a very aggressive push for tips. I come from a culture that does not normally tip but I have no problem if I feel the service has been worth it. I felt with the guide walking around with his tip box and standing in front of each traveler made it almost impossible to refuse to contribute despite my misgivings about the service provided.

On the whole the experience was very good and well worth while but I feel some attention to the aggressive tipping experience might be warranted.

Visiting patagonia was a long held dream. It lived up to my expectations from an cultural and environmental point of view. The Patagonian step has presence like no other i have experienced in many years of travel.
