Everything was taken care of!

I found Say Hueque through a Google search for Patagonia tours and then read reviews possibly on TripAdvisor.
Good reviews and a better price and more complete package than the other tour company I was speaking with.
Everything was taken care of! I could enjoy just being in beautiful Patagonia and relax rather than constantly trying to sort my travel and hotel arrangements at each stop.

The scenery at Perito Moreno and in Torres del Paine was unbeatable, but I also really enjoyed the hike in Ushuaia because the guide was so knowledgeable, and the lunch they prepared in they woods was quite nice. I loved all of the excursions. It was an incredible trip.
As mentioned above, the guide for the hike in Ushuaia was great. I think her name was Carla, but I'm not sure. She was so enthusiastic and passionate about her work, and her love of the nature we saw on our hike was infectious.

Thanks,
Catherine

I will use you again when planning my next trip to South America

I found about Say Hueque on the Internet and TripAdvisor and I chose you because of the reviews, website and responsiveness.

The highlights of working with you were the exciting itinerary, I found it confusing to plan South America so I was relieved to see this plan .

I travel a lot and hotels are important to me . I spend lots of time looking at the choices and all of them were lovely ! I did not have any that I did not like .

To be honest , all the excursions were nice in their own merits . The crossing the lakes from Argentina to Chile was so lovely and different, but easter island was equally nice .

The guides were all were nice , Vanesa in Buenos Aires felt like a friend took us out for a day , Nicolas in Easter island was so passionate about the history and culture. So knowledgeable. Everyone was excellent and very professional. I really liked the quality of agencies you work with .

I shall say your billing was little bit confusing. I’m used to getting two bills, one for the deposit and one for the remainder. That never happened. I also was charged twice and lost small amount money in exchange, when the charge was returned.

I will use you again when planning my next trip to South America. I also will give your name to my friends.

Thank you for a wonderful trip

I learned about Say Hueque through Trip Advisor. I decided to work with Say Hueque because the reviews were positive and the tour package was pretty much exactly what we wanted.

This was the first time I booked a tour and was apprehensive of problems arising (i.e. flights, tours schedules) but there were no errors at all. I think that is pretty awesome.

The Recoleta Grand Hotel was really nice; especially their service and location was really convenient. We had to borrow a charger and an iron which they were happy to help us out with. The major positive point of the Amerian hotel was their food; it was excellent for a hotel restaurant.

Our favourite excursion was definitely the Iguazu Falls tours; both Argentina and Brazil side.

Regarding the guides, Nikolas from the Buenos Aires city tour was very friendly and knowledgeable about the city and is clearly passionate of his job. Jorge for the EcoTours was very informative and set a good pace for the tours in Iguazu; he didn't overwhelm us with information but let us go at our own pace to see the falls. Pepe who picked us up to take us to the airport was really fun and easy to chat with; I wish we could have talked longer than just the car ride!

I think the Tango show in Buenos Aires was really awesome but thought the food wasn't all that great; relative to the other places we've eaten while there.

Thank you for a wonderful trip. I will definitely recommend your company to family and friends and would use your company again should I travel to the places you create tours for.

We are planning to visit again Patagonia

I did some research online and came across your website. I also read reviews on Tripadvisor.

I chose Say Hueque because of the flexibility with picking our own itinerary (although we went with your trip) and the fact that we traveled independently and not in a group, also fast and to the point reply from to our questions and concerns.

In Torres Del Paine the transfer with the ferry on Gray lake was scheduled very early. We were supposed to hike 11 KM to the ferry, however, as it was scheduled, we were to start our hike at 5 in morning. We realized this two days before the scheduled ferry ride and with the help of the refugio staff and Patricio, our travel agent, all was sorted out. We got to enjoy both the hike, the ferry ride and the trip to Puerto Natales. I was really impressed that all worked out smoothly.

Regarding the hotels, we liked, almost equally, the Pudu Lodge in El Chalten (liked the room, location-close to trails, and staff), Austral Hotel in Ushuaia (for the room, staff and location) and El Pueblito in Iguazu (the setup of the hotel, the fact that it had a restaurant with good food on the premises, staff and room)

Our favourite excursion was Perito Moreno. Great tour guide. We really loved the tour guide in Perito Moreno. However, on the flip side, the tour guide in Iguazu was not goods at all, and this was a shared feeling among all the tourists in the group.

Although we received a detailed day to day itinerary , I believe that you can improve the instructions in the day-to-day itinerary as they are a bit confusing. At times we did not know where the pick up location will be and what to look for.

Other comments: we did not like the Drake Hotel in Puerto Natales (kind of run down, windows would not close) and the bus company, Tecni Austral, from Punta Arenas to Ushuaia had really run down buses, not comfortable for the 12 hour ride, and the fact that we did not know that we have to switch buses in Rio Grande.

All in all it was a great trip, not only because of the area we visited, but also thanks to your company. I would like to thank you Patricio Rappaport for all his help and patience before and during our trip. We are planning to visit again Patagonia and will definitely solicit the help of your company.

Thank you again and all the best,

I don’t want hassle and you ensured that wasn’t any

I don’t want hassle and you ensured that wasn’t any

We went on the web looking at trip adviser and other websites to see which companies had organized tours for people. Your name came up fairly frequently along with several others so I emailed all of them. You were the first to reply and your answers seemed sensible so we decided to work with you.

Everything worked ok. We were always met at the airports on schedule, the hotels were always ready etc. I don’t want hassle and you ensured that wasn’t any

Mendoza was lovely – small, excellent service, relaxed. Buenos A was also very good – also excellent service. We liked the hotels.

There were many excursions – so to choose one is difficult. But memorable ones include – the boat trip, walking with the penguins nr Ushuaia (you didn’t book that for us but we did), fossil valley at estancia Christina from el calafate, the walks in torres del paine. Horse riding in torres del paine was unfortunately cancelled due to illness of horses – but that would have been a favourite.

On the negative side the guide in Puerto montt/varas was not an enjoyable experience – he was very late at the airport (30 minutes) and said he had been there all the time – I get annoyed by people who lie to me. He was inflexible. But all other guides were good – the standard was very good.

Some friends want to do a tour similar to us and we have suggested a number of modifications which I think your team could have suggested to us:

- renting cars a bit more – we could have rented in Puerto montt and driven ourselves to various places including chiloe, we could have rented in Atacama etc

- some tours we should have been booked on and we added them as we travelled – in Atacama we were not booked on a tour down south to the lake – which is one major reason for going to that area. In Ushuaia we were not booked on the penguin tour but again that is a major reason for going there.

- Chiloe was the most disappointing stay – having read the book where so many people say it is wonderful, we thought we could have skipped it and visited other places – if the timetable was limited.

- you should have suggested to us that there are tours of cities – walking tours – toursfortips.com for example. That would have been good for several of the cities – Atacama, Santiago, Mendoza. We did join the tours because we know about them from USA but you should have mentioned them as an option.

- all the hotels were fine – however probably you could have warned us that Atacama was hot and that we should choose a hotel with a pool!! The hotel we had was ok but a pool would have made life better.

- in hindsight there are some days when we could have caught a flight instead of staying at a hotel. But that is my fault I should have studied the flight times in more detail – for example going from Atacama to easter island we had to stay a night in Santiago but there must have been a way to save this?

- places not included which should have been – Salta, the wetlands, an estancia somewhere, we should have stayed another couple of days in BA. We will come back to visit Brazil and pop down to see some of these.

Thanks for everything – now back to reality of grandchildren and gardening!!

Overall things went very smoothly

We found a tour out to the salt flats in Bolivia and then reverse searched the tour and came across your website. We chose Say Hueque because you had good reviews online and we were struggling to put the trip together on our own.

The highlight of choosing Say Hueque to plan our trip was the ease of having our transfers setup for us.

Regarding the hotels we stayed in, Hotel Clasico was nice. Hotel in El Calafete was a little basic. Hotel in El Chalten was nice. Hotel Manavai on Easter Island was just ok, the rooms are dark and musty.

Our favourite excursion was Big Ice Trek, it was amazing!

We shall mention Joci at Lago Grey Hotel, was an amazing guide.

Overall things went very smoothly, but when we had an issue with an excursion and never received a answer/response from your 24 hour emergency hotline that was a little disappointing.

All was good!

We chose Say Hueque because of the good offerings and prompt feedback, addressing all out concerns. We thank Patricio Rapaport for his attention and encouragement.

The highlight of working with Say Hueque was seeing amazing places. Our favourite hotel was Senderos Hosteria in El Chalten, it was friendly, helpful and intimate. All hotels were good.

Our favourite excursion was Ascencio Valley in Torres del Paine: beautiful, very helpful guides and exciting encounter with puma.

I shall say Vincenzo Muzio and Valeria at Rio Serrano Hotel were very helpful. In general, all was good.
